Works great, especially for unsteady hands!
Bought the phone for my elderly Dad, whose hands are not as steady as they used to be. He had difficulty inserting the small charger cord end into the phone, so I bought this. AWESOME! I also bought the case for the phone & it drops easily into the cradle for charging. Problem for Dad resolved!Note- There is a removable insert (as shown in the photo) that I just removed to give the extra room needed for the case.

Simple and Easy
This cradle is much better than the one they had for their previous generation phone. There are just two little contacts that make the connection much like the cradle for a cordless landline phone. All you have to do is drop it in, and it starts charging.

Phone is GREAT..
One of the most important features on this phone is the red button/emergency dialing on back of phone.... Advertising says this works with both ATT and Verizon.... it does NOT! ATT does not have ability to connect the emergency button..They can set up service but without use of this button... Same with Verizon...Only acceptable service seems to be Snapfron which is too expensive...also T Mobile... From what I have learned from checking around...I could be wrong????? But think not.Phone is GREAT... Easy to use and program withContacts.... When you dial number it calls out number you are dialing.... Simple to use!Case does not fit into charger? It should..Elder person cannot take cover on and off to charge phone

Great Phone, but be Mindful of Senior Abilities
My grandpa is pushing 90 and we basically had to abandon this phone not because of the phone itself, but because of his inability to operate it. My grandma was a little more with-it and was able to use this phone with ease. If you or your loved one has a hard time with arthritis I would highly recommend getting the charging cradle also. If you purchase the Snapfon Tuff Case you don't have to take the case off every time you want to charge your phone in the cradle, you just plop it in, there is no wrangling with the tiny cords. They had a really hard time plugging in the cord to charge them before we got the cradle. I had to go to the AT&T store because swapping out the SIM card in from their other phones didn't work, it was the same size SIM card, there was just some weird problem that it took quite a few minutes for them to figure out. But, it will work with AT&T and the signal is great. The ringer is loud and the in-call volume is also loud enough for my hard-of-hearing grandpa to hear. Another thing to watch out for is during a phone conversation: my grandpa clutched the phone with a death-grip and always managed to depress the (-) volume button which turned the in-call volume down while he was on the phone and then couldn't figure out how to turn it back up once he was off the phone. When you're not talking on the phone if you hit the down volume it turns the ringer down, you have to be on a phone call to turn the in-call volume up or down (or go into settings). I know that and you know that, but getting a 90 year old man to figure that out was beyond my abilities.

Order this with your phone. It's perfect.
Cool idea for seniors. My Grandma could never get her phone charger plugged in right. Works great and easy to use.

Wish I could give a half star rating
Received this a few days ago & nothing at all as explained, pictured or represented. It's an extremely lightweight, black plastic stand, just large enough for the snapfon. It arrived with other items I'd ordered from Amazon, simply wrapped in saran-type plastic with a plastic tie, everything all in another big box. Not individually protected from damages whatsoever. There was a SKU label identifying it from the Snapfon company attached to the plastic wrap, but nothing on the cradle itself. I'm uncertain if this is even from Snapfon, it's so cheap in every aspect.Once the phone is placed in the cradle, the entire setup falls over. Four 1/16" diameter 'things' are on the bottom of the stand for stability & slide prevention but they serve no purpose. The Snapfon was purchased for my 91 yr old Mom who is blind with Macular Degeneration. The phone is perfect & she's adapted to it well, much better than I'd expected. I got the cradle because she's had difficulty plugging the charging cable into the phone. I thought this would eliminate the problem completely. Not so!I'm a Prime Member, but it seems to mean less & less these days. I'll be contacting both Amazon & Snapfon with my concerns to see what solutions are offered. Lately it's been, "too bad" but we'll see. Expect a follow up..

... for my 94 year old dad and it works great..
got this for my 94 year old dad and it works great... Love that it speaks the numbers that you press loudly and clearly. He does not see well or hear well so it is great. Using the cradle instead of trying to connect a small wire into a small hole he could not see works great.
