I bought it to replace a 7w (40w) in a bedside lamp as it was too bright. Despite being 2w (25w), this bulb is actually brighter than the one I took out so no good as a bedside lamp.

I needed some low wattage bulbs for my sons light at night and these are perfect. Not too bright nor too dim.
