A Great Travel Cane
I bought this cane for a business trip to Florida. My normal cane is wood and not airline friendly. This cane is perfect for me. It actually collapses, not fold, but collapse, each section sliding into the one above it when the pins are released. This not only makes the cane STURDY, it also makes it small and easy to manage when collasped. No need for a rubber or velcro band or pouch to keep it the folded sections in check. The cane easily adjusted for my height, 5'11", and keeps the height adjustment between extensions and collapses so there is no need to reset it. Also, the cane looks good and received several positive comments on my trip. I have found that now that I am back home, I grab this cane to go out in the yard even though my trusty wooden cane is near by.

Stable, nice looking and super convenient.
Bought this for my husband who is somewhat large and is unstable on his feet due to a hip issue. I got it because we’re always trying to find a place for his cane when we go out. This one telescopes to a close instead of folding. Provides great stability and creates less commotion when he closes the cane. Then it’s super easy to stow wherever we go. The cool blue has also been complimented several times.

Could have been an excellent cane
This is the third Pocket Cane that I've owned. Its key feature is collapsibility. This makes the cane very convient to store in a backpack or shoulder bag when not in use (eg, sitting down in a cab, subway, restaurant or office). The design is far superior to folding canes, which are clumsy to stash away. But the product is only as good as its weakest link. In this case, a flimsy, brittle platic pin inside the cane that locks it into extentended position, which when pressed in releases the cane to collapse into compact size during non-use.These pins in my two prior canes did not survive my low to moderate use for more than a few months each. After the first such break, I had extensive back and forth with manufacturer (this is prior to their sales via Amazon platform). I sent them photos and then the cane itself for examination.Manufacturer did replace the faulty product, but the whole process took nearly 2 months. Then second Pocket Cane broke in the same place.Since I have not found another cane with same collapsibility feature, when I spotted it being sold through Amazon, I purchased a third Pocket Cane. I could be wrong, but does not look like manufacturer upgraded the material used for the pin.Since collapsibility is this cane's key feature, one would think manufacturer would not cut corners here, in what otherwise is a thoughtful design.Hopefully, third time is the charm. And hopefully, manufacture reads this comment and upgrades the cheap plastic pin in this pricey cane.

Perfect!
Being old isn't for sissies and this cane is amazing. First of all the color is beautiful. It folds down and fits in my back pack easily. As long as you have an IQ above cabbage, it is easily adjusted and is ready when you need it. I love to hike etc and sometimes, randomly, my back or knee will decide to no longer participate. Having this cane handy in my pack has given me much more mobility. I couldn't be happier!!

No reliable mechanism. Now won’t collapse.
Worked fine for the few times I extended it in the first 3 months but when I attempted to collapse it today it just jammed up. The internals are not reliable. So, I have a $50. Cane that was used maybe 20 times total. It looks neat but you can’t depend it. If I can get it to work I’ll update this review.

A nice little cane
I bought this for my wife and she likes it a lot except for when she wants to collapse it. This operation requires you to press in 2 small metal buttons on the lower section while pushing the end in. She has some arthritis problems with her hands that makes pushing these small metal buttons almost impossible for her. I wish there was a better mechanism for this. The cane is very light and sturdy; the handle is very comfortable.

Sturdy cane is best I've ever had, pocket or not!
Once or twice a year I experience BPV (benign positional vertigo) so I wanted a sturdy packable cane that I could pull out when I needed it - this cane telescopes down to a compact fourteen inch tube - much more packable than folding canesThis cane has a great feature that I've never encountered before - it is able to support weight when not fully deployed. It can support weight at intermediate points of roughly 14 inches, 20 inches, 30 inches and the fully deployed length of about 36 inches. The shorter lengths make it easier to do things like getting out of a chair. The length of the cane when fully deployed is adjustable by several inches. II takes a couple of minutes but you only do it once. After doing it once the cane will stop at the selected point every time you fully deploy the cane. Process is described pretty well in the supplied written instructions though I also watched the video on youtube, which I found more informative than the video on amazon's product page (search for "Foldawheel Pocket Cane an Ultra Compact Walking Cane with, Comfortable T Handles")One caveat - the handle is a nice shape and fits my hand, but it isn't soft. I actually prefer a non-soft handle, because they don't wear.

I tell everyone about the cane.
This is the absolute best cane that I've ever owned as I can collapse it and .It is so good that people LITERALLY STOLE TWO FROM ME.My only complaint is that the reflector falls off and I don't know why I can't get it to stay properly and now it is lost... again. Also the product information isn't right, the company is Wheelchair 88.
