Frabill Ice Fishing Tip-Ups

Great tip-up = easy to use, sturdy, what a tip-up should be.

Like the ease of use, brightness of the color and the scale. The mechanisms work well but the one that came to me is missing the nut to hold everything to the base. If would have had 5 stars if it had that.

These are a nice cheaper alternative to the Beaver Dam tip-ups. Nice smooth spool, hardware is quality, and they work great.

I have used several kinds of tip ups, both my own, and ones of friends, and these are by far the best.

Product works as it should

The tip up for the price is great. The only thing that gets to me is getting the grease to regrease them is as much as the tip up it’s self. These are not maintenance free tip ups have to grease them every other year.

This is the evolution of ice fishing. Soooooo much better than the 'traditional' wooden cross rig!This one sets up easily! Folds up neatly when you're done.It even has a ruler to measure your catch.Love love love it!I'll eventually replace all my rigs with these.Only negative note: I wish they were a little longer.On a 10" hole, I was afraid some fish could wiggle the rig and drag it down thru the hole. Maybe it can't possibly happen, but... A couple extra inches on the plastic base would make it even better!!!

Works good but why spooling line is a after thought I don't understand. I recommend designer's rethink what you do with the line after the bite /catch. Very awkward to hold in -30 and respool line. Works great even for Walleye and Burbot. Great for Pike. Spool runs free and very compact all good things. I have over 75yrds of 100lb braided ice line on it so line capacity is good for Pike.

Best tipup for the price very smooth operation

Plastic is firm and solid. Brass reel , reel nut is soldered so it won't fall off and the flag is material not just plastic.
