Worth the money
Bought this to replace our old leaking poled awning which didn't take long to erect. The new air one is light easy to erect. The pump was easy to use as well. Once up it looked a bit flimsy but we had wind, heavy rain and thunder but it held up really well. No leaks bonus. It came with an extra support for the centre of the awning and you can buy extra ones for the sides for more support. I would of rather had green storm and guide lines but are grey instead not easy to see at night. Otherwise I would recommend.

easy to put up on your own
solo female traveller and this is easy and light enough to put up on your own. lots of pegging required which is always the worst bit. one beam to pump up - done in less than a minute. i was toying between the 290 and the 325 and glad i went bigger. My only gripe is that is slopes down alot from the caravan to the door so you have to duck to walk out of it (im 5ft 8). i would have preferred the door entry to be a bit taller.

Brilliant
WE have used this three times. Once we ignored the instructions for erecting it and took the advice of a salesman it was a lot easier to put up.Since using it, it has withstood high winds and heavy rainWe are completely satisfied with our purchase

Sunncamp versus Kamp!
Got this awning to replace a Kampa Air awning that was getting a bit of a struggle to get threaded along the awning rail. (bulky/heavy for a couple of old dodgers). This is much easier to manhandle and put up. There is only one airbeam which cuts down the bulk. We had the awning up in about 30m minutes the first time so i would guess about 20 mins once you get used to it.For the money this is an excellent product, not the same standard as the Kampa but still good. We used our old Kampa poles for the rear cushions. The awning has plenty of room and light with opening doors/fly screens either side and a opening front panel. The awning comes with an inflatable roof beam which fits with Velcro once inflated and has it's own air valve so you have a spare if the main valve fails. Unlike the Kampa, thers is no air release tap so you have to undo the main valve, not a problem. Sunncamp make a big thing in the instructions re dangers of over inflating. The awning comes with a pump with pressure guage and dump valve. It does feel different to the Kampa when inflating, you need to look at the pressure guage and aim for about 5 PSI. The Kampa basically can't be over inflated (so they say and from experience you get to a point where you can't physically pump any more).I would think it would be possible to over inflate the Sunncamp but it would take some doing.Taking the awning down is easy peasy, un peg and undo/remove the main valve. we usually leave the awning for a few minutes to let all the air escape but as there is only one air beam this is probably not necessary. folding the awning is much easier than the Kampa (easier means less marital friction! ) and packs easily into it's case. There are no real gripes, it would have been useful to have some tie straps to fasten the rear cushions to the poles but otherwise we are happy. Havn'e tried the awning in the rain so can't comment on its watertightness.
