Wrong color shipped, dangly straps on bottom get in the way.
Update: Honestly I expected abysmal customer service and got my expectations crushed. Pirate Labs has offered to fix the issue and was faster than the flash with their response. Item will be returned and a replacement issued. I do not expect any further problems, yes that confident just from exchanging emails! I really like this product and it seems very well made and will most likely resist years if gamer abuse, and so far Pirate Labs customer service has been great! The dangly bits still make no sense to me but they don’t have to, i will suggest that they update their pics to reflect them though, had I seen it I would not have ordered it. Two thums way up!Original: 2 star rating: Really really want to give this more stars but several things are stopping me.1) I ordered Olive Drab and received Black, not an absolute deal breaker but being 100% honest here it’s a let down and returning it will mean the person I bought it for almost certainly won’t have it in time for Christmas. So I’m forced to keep it and deal with it or return it and risk the right one not arriving in time or option 3 is just return it outright and throw the cash at the intended recipient.2) On the bottom are these fantastic “feet” that will keep the bag out of whatever spilled or sticky crap that your local gaming shops tables are covered in, sadly they are rendered ineffective by two straps that cannot be removed (unless you want to slice them off forever). I assume it’s for a playmat tube but the bag won’t sit level with them dangling down there. Permanently altering this bag so it will function properly seems insane but I see no alternative currently, yes manually moving them is doable but doing that each time the bag is to be set down seems a little much. The bag is awesome and has great fit and finish but these straps and the poor order packing really bummed me out. Most likely going to return this due to the wrong color and nonremovable straps on the bottom, it was going to be a gift but 🙁

The best deck bag out there
This is an extremely durable, well put together carrying case. I ordered the variant with just two rows (for maximum space), and it fits my 5 commander decks (in Ultra Pro 100+ deck boxes), an extra deck box with sleeves for drafting, and my dice and life counters quite easily. The back zip holds a very small binder and a playmat folded up. The zippers and hardware are all very high quality, and, although it's a little heavier than I expected, it's relatively light. The fabric cleans off well (already had a small spill on it), and it fits nicely under a chair while I'm playing. I'm a bit of a sucker for bags and boxes and sleeves and such and have accumulated quite a few over the years. This exceeded all my expectations.

LOVE this case!
I had got the Pirate Lab large case a couple months back and was looking for something a bit smaller and lighter for events such as draft nights or tournaments. I love my large Pirate Lab case, but it is rather heavy when full, and it gets tiresome when switching tables/areas constantly when in an event.Material:Just like my large case, the materials are top notch, the material and quality are a just reason for the higher price. This case will outlast ANY other. The fabric is that like you would find on luggage. The zippers are strong and have never given any issue. They provide a detachable strap to carry this like a satchel, but I have elected not to use that, even though it is high quality as well. I am however looking to use the loop attachments for the strap as places to put charms and such.Layout:I gotten the insert with the small compartment for dice. I like this layout well. It works well to fit 3 deck boxes for in one line, and 1 and a larger box for the other, along with a dice bag and a ultra pro hard case for loose cards in the compartment. I use the top of the compartment side for placing my folded playmat. The other side opens up having room for a 4 page binder as well as pen/pencil storage and another place for paper. In most reviews I have seen players use this side to place a binder and playmat, but I have elected to have a larger deluxe 4 page binder, and this does not allow for much room for the playmat. Luckily the playmat fits well on either side.Pirate Lab:The products I get from them are by far the highest quality I have ever had, and I have been gaming for going for 15+ years. Both of my purchases (large and small) from Pirate Labs have required a small bit of customer service, and they have always resolved each issue quickly and very professionally. This customer service along with the high quality of the products have made Pirate Lab a company I truly respect. I cannot speak higher of my experiences with them.Overall:I love the product, I see myself using the smaller case more than the larger one for how easy it is to carry around.Yes, it is costlier than the 10$ POS plastic container you can pick up from Walmart, but the quality is there. This plus the flexibility of the layout make it well worth the extra cost. While I do love both the large and small case, I would say starting out with this smaller one if you are questioning what one is for you. It is just a lot easier to use.NOTE:My one issue I had with this case was that some of the newer designs have a strap on the bottom of the case for a rolled up playmat to be placed. While some may see this as an upgrade to usability, I am more concerned for the sleek and professional look of the original case. I had to get mine replaced with the original model. I would say to contact Pirate Lab customer service if this is a make or break option for you until they fix their listing to correctly tell of this design choice.
