How to Climb: Building Your Own Indoor Climbing Wall (How To Climb Series) Paperback – January 1, 1995

Gonna get startd in the spring; this book makes it seem as if my project won't be too difficult.

Althought this book was well written and a little useful, it seemed to me about making holds and construction techniques. I was looking for a book that might have info on self-belay and anchoring but the author writes that anchoring is a subject he doesn't want to write about and never mentions self-belay. He doesn't even mention floor padding for your home gym. It's a thin book for the money (26 pages) and the price per page was a little steep.

good book even for a carpenter like myself. short and to the point. more pictures would be helpful for design ideas but good buy

Great guide to get ya going. If I was more motivated to put in the work this would of bee. Very useful!

Very small very simple.

BEWARE ... Not even a book, just a pamphlet. Note that this is only 26 pages long. About the length of 1-2 chapters in a "real" book. There is not even a spine on it, because it's too thin to be perfect bound. it is just 13 sheets, folded in half and stapled together. Obviously, I wish that I had know this before I ordered it. I would've passed on it, spent a little more, and purchased a real book.

very basic book. only 26 pages long. if your looking to build your own home climbing/bouldering wall. I would recommened just doing a search on google or going to the metolius climbing website.

good, but short book

自宅にボルダリングウォールを造ってみたい人は多いのではないでしょうか。DIYの延長線上でいけそうということは理解できます。本当にやるには、もう少し強度の情報が欲しいと思いました。でも自宅の改造する勇気をくれます。本文はマニュアル程度の量なのでさらっと読めちゃいます。でもこの本だけでは絶対に作れません。

作り方というより、「みんな、こんなのを作ってますよ〜」という紹介ですね。薄いパンフレットのようなのが届いて、がっかりです。

英語は問題なく読めますが、思ったより内容は、どうなんでしょう、という感じでした。やはり日本人に合うのは、イラストや写真が沢山入ってるものなんでしょうね。
