Love my Walking foot LSZ-Plus
This is a wonderful machine. The packaging was exceptional. This was the best packaged item I have ever purchased. I was able to put my machine together from the written directions. I found the video after I had completed placing all items on my machine . The sewing machine is steel very heavy which I expected and the construction is beautiful. The directions are very clear and easy to follow . I purchased this walking foot machine because I make handbags and clothing . I needed a portable machine that I could use on heavy fabrics, and many layers of fabric. I have wanted this machine for many years . I saved enough to purchase it with the table made by Sailrite to fit this machine. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Much needed addition!
I've sewn for 20 plus years and finally decided to add a heavy duty machine to the collection. I bought it primarily for clothing such as winter coats. I have used it to mend an awning for a camper. Sewing the vinyl tube to the canvas fabric. The power of the machine is amazing. And it's still gental enough to work on velvet.

Purchased this machine directly from Sailrite. Used it 3 times and the thread kept on getting stuck inside the bobbin case. It will sew but I had a hard time pulling the fabric out. I have been going back and forth with their tech support without a resolution. After many hours of testing and following the video on pressure foot adjustment, I was unable to fix the problem. When I cranked the machine slowly by hand I could see the pressure foot would occasionally skip. If I hold down the foot not allowing it to skip would prevent a bird's nest in the bobbin case but obviously I could not be doing that while sewing. After carefully studying how the mechanism works, I discovered the 2 slots holding the pressure foot were miss aligned. Sailrite had allowed the machine to pass quality control with this manufacturer's defect. They wanted me to pay for 2 way shipping to have the machine checked out, claiming the warranty is only for 30 days. I had the machine for 4 months and I barely used it. I have not heard from them in the last 2 work days now and will return with a report.Update: Just received a mailing label from Sailrite. Sounds like they want to take care of the problem.Update: Received the machine in a timely manner. Cover for the motor was not placed back on the machine and I had to put it back. The sticking of the footing was gone and the bird's nest only occurs if I remove the material when the needle is on the travel up position. If I remove the material when the needle is about to come down, it would work perfectly. The machine was designed to be very basic and tough but with less concern about users. Stitch length adjustment is very coarse and hard to set it to be consistent. You will have to stitch a sample to know the stitch length. The stitch width is very narrow at maximum setting. All in all the machine design gets a 3 but the customer service gets a 4.5, 0.5 was deducted due to the parts not being placed back after service. I will still recommend this machine because they do have good customer service and the machine can still get the job done despite the minor problems. If I were to purchase a clone from China, I would have ended up with a pile of junk metal.

This sewing machine is amazing. I bought it for my wife and ended up wanting to use it myself to make awesome stuff (bags, sails, tents, etc). It will legitimately sew through almost anything. If the world ends, you will want to have this sewing machine in your survival kit.

Decent beginner machine
Performance and efficiency wise, the LSZ1 is never gonna out-perform a traditional industrial sewing machine with the big fixed table. However it is decent for those who needed something with a bit more punching power than a home machine but don't quite actually have the space or the serious cash for an industrial one.Sailrite also offer a two years warranty on the machine to put your mind at ease.
