Cute story, solid translation
I bought this for my friend's little boy. They're all native Spanish speakers, but are also fluent in English. Since they also speak Norwegian, they buy him books in all three languages. I enjoy buying him books that are popular in the US, and I read them to him when I visit them. This is an adorable book and solid translation, so I have no complaints. No, the grammar isn't perfect throughout, but you also have to account for colloquialisms and the small changes that occur in the Spanish language depending on the actual country. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderful
Bought for my husband to read to our baby. It was his favorite book as a child. Hopefully it'll be her's too!

Great story for little ones!
I got the name of this book off of a recommended reading list for babies before they're even born. I'm fluent in Spanish, so pronunciation wasn't difficult at all. It has a cute story line, and my little guy was kicking like crazy as soon as I started reading in Spanish. (Neither my husband nor I are of an ethnicity where the baby hears Spanish very often.) However, the change of dialect made him very active which of course, was fun for me as well. All in all, a great little story to read whether in Spanish or English.

Nice book
This is a great story with an OK-ish translation. The translation is OK but not great, it is still probably the best that they could do.There are several words in the book that differ from country to country. Do you say: "refrigerador", "nevera", "frigorifico" or "heladera"? Do you say "una pluma", "una lapicera" or "un boligrafo"? Do you say "sorbete", "popote", "pajita", "bombilla" or "pitillo"? Your answer depends on the origin of the Spanish you speak. Unless you chose the first option of the three questions before, you'll be uncomfortable with this translation.

Great translation!
I have a nephew that is growing up in a bilingual family. I love to get him books in both English and Spanish versions. This was one of my favorites as a kid and it doesn't lose any of its greatness in translation.

Mi sobrino se lo aprendió a la primera leída
Le regalé este libro a mi sobrino a sus 4 años, se aprendió de inmediato las frases del libro y pedía que le repitiéramos la lectura hasta 4 veces seguidas, sin exagerar. Lo amó demasiado y yo también, es una historia muy linda y con la cual se identifican rápidamente. Para mí la mejor forma de hacer conexión con él es compartiendo el tiempo de lectura, un gran regalo si buscas lo mismo también.

Me encanta
Esta historia trata de las reacciones en cadena, es decir, de como un acción lleva a la siguiente en una relación de causa-efecto.Me gusto este libro porque nos enseña a que Si tomamos decisiones por nosotros mismos, debemos asumir las consecuencias buenas o malas, no debemos acceder a los chantajes porque te pediran y pediran muchas cosas mas y si accedes una vez, accederás siempre.
