I bought this for my preschool classroom and our study on simple machines. They loved it and we were able to act out the story outside. It was a great balance of fiction and non-fiction!

What a fun book to introduce the concept of Push and Pull! It really helped students understand what happens on a hill, with a heavy load, etc. My students were engaged in the story, but were also learning science along with it! We really enjoyed this book. I also love the use of speech bubbles as I was able to include that as a lesson too!

This book was part of a special education unit on movement. I was so excited when my students learned that push and pull are forces. They loved this well-written story!

Fun and appropriate for my force and motion lessons for kindergarten. The children thoroughly enjoyed it while helping them to understand the concepts.

Super cute book. High interest, great pics, vocabulary development and not too long. Third grade lexile range.

I know it's a book aimed at young children but dang, there's just not much science here.
