Beautiful garment
Just received & very fast delivery, about 3 days from order date & 3 days ahead of expected delivery date. I got the purple/blue plaid, exactly as pictured, very soft wool. I only gave it 4 stars because I was expecting something that went over my head (my fault - didn't see the full description).But I will keep it because I think it is worth the price I paid. As I stated - colors are true to the photo on-line and beautiful plaid. I am 5'2" and it comes down to my knees. Not for heavy winter weather (still searching for a cape with closure), but good for Fall or inside the house. Just be aware that it is not a poncho though it looks like it in the picture here.

Lovely and Warm
Lovely and warm. There is nothing like wool to keep you truly warm. This cape is very soft and not scratchy. It is so much better than the acrylic capes that are really just for show. This truly does add a nice layer of warmth, especially over a lighter coat, or as a wrap by itself held together with a pretty pin.

Perfection
Wow. This is soooo soft and exactly what I wanted. It feels to be made of very high quality wool and it looks exactly like the picture. It got to me super fast (like three days) and I can't wait for it to drop in temperature so I can curl up in it and read a good book. It was a bit expensive but I really think it was worth it. I'm thinking of getting one for my mother for Christmas.

I am 173 cm tall (5 ft 8 in) and the cloak finishes just below my knees. It falls beautifully, is light and warm. I was looking for something to cover my shoulders while spinning on winter evenings. Not only will the cloak serve that purpose very well, I have discovered its versatility - it can be worn while shopping, socialising and going to theatre also. It will be a mainstay item in my winter wardrobe - I can't wait for winter to arrive so I can show it off and put it to good use. The colours are as depicted-soft and subtle

Great buy
The picture on here doesn't do it justice. I was somewhat hesitant about buying it but it is so much prettier in person. It's super comfortable and I get compliments every time I wear it. I'll probably buy another color in the future.

Great for chilly weather.
Soft and warm - perfect for chilly weather, and if you need to take a nap away from home, you can put the front panels over your legs and bring the back of it up and cover up - I'm 5'6" and weigh about 255, it covers me as well as a blanket.

This is AMAZING! I love the colors (I ordered Heritage of Scotland) and its is SO SOFT. The warmth is fabulous, in fact, I even drape it over my side of the bed at night in cool weather. I'm looking for excuses to buy more! I regret that I only have one torso!

My mother loved this cape for Christmas. I have also ordered a long shawl and scarf in another color in the past. I cannot say enough about how beautiful and soft they are (for wool), and how quickly they came from Scotland! Free shipping and arriving within a week, you can't beat that. The only thing is they have to leave it in a locker or have you sign for it. For me that was not an issue, very easy to go and retrieve at any time with my order number.
