Well made, easy to use.
This is the 2nd chute blocker we've bought (two different mowers). First one works so well, when we bought another mower, we ordered another. Definitely worth the price.

YES . . . it will fit your mower!
I decided to write this review because of the many questions being asked if it will fit "insert your mower here".Yes it will fit. Will it be a direct bolt-on fit? NO. Do not expect to open the instructions and see 'Step 1: insert bolt A into hole A1. Step 2: insert Johnson rod into bolt extender opening and tighten.' You know what I am trying to say. But seriously, the ACS is an aftermarket part that is meant to fit many, many different models. They have, I believe, two different models - that's it! There's no way it is going to be a direct fit, step-by-step install. That doesn't mean it will not fit.For the ACS to "fit" your mower's deck just select the appropriate model and know that you will have to do some work on your end. For instance, I had to drill 3 holes and grind down a mount on my mower's deck for the ACS to fit. But it did fit nonetheless. They include all the hardware needed especially the spacers. The spacers, to me, are what make the ACS universal. Think about it. The ACS is just a piece of metal used to block the chute on your mower. In theory, it could be removed from the box, drill holes for the bolts, and then bolted down. You're done, yeah! But those spacers really make it more customized to your specific mower. Which, by the way, ended up taking the most time when I did my install. The many spacers come in several different sizes and will probably need to be combined in order to fit your deck. If the ACS sits too high then clippings will fly from underneath. If it sits too low then it will dig into the ground. Once you find your correct height then the install is fairly straightforward. Mark your holes, drill the holes if you're not lucky enough to have any line up, then bolt the ACS on to your mower. It truly is that easy. My shop wanted $199 just for the install. Nope! I will keep that money myself thank you.So, will it fit your mower? YES.Will it be an easy, step-by-step install specifically for my mower? NOIs it something I can do myself on a Saturday morning and be mowing by Saturday night? YESIs it something I should by? Well, if you are reading the reviews then you must have some interest in the ACS. Ask yourself what your expectations are for the ACS. For me, I wanted something that could block my chute so clippings would not fly where I did not want them to fly. ACS accomplishes this. I wanted something that I could operate easily, from my seat, and was convenient to do so. The ACS accomplishes this. I wanted something that would be strong enough to handle what I could throw at it - dependable. The ACS accomplished this.Basically, I want a piece of metal that is easy to use and all it needs to do is stop clippings from coming out. That's it. And it does all this very well.

Vague instructions
Very durable attachment. Have seen many installed when I worked as a lawn and garden tech. So I decided to install one and only issue I had was the vague instructions. Had to use videos online to complete installation.

You always wonder
We purchased a Grass Chute brand blocker but decided to put one on another mower, and thought we would try a different brand just to see. This product seems sturdy and durable. While out other one is foot operated, this particular one in manual hand operated. If that doesn't bother you, it is a good unit. We installed it on a Gravely Pro Turn.

Chute system for Kubota
The description said it fit our type of kubota. One we received it their was no way for it to fit without having to drill extra holes in the Kubota's cutting cover for extra bolts. So we sent it back! Wish that it would have fit because it was less expensive then the Kubota brand chute system.

Great idea.....just not a one size fits all
Bought this for my Gravely 152Z commercial mower. The ACS6000ULS is the correct part # for my mower (listed on their website), and it states that it fits my particular model-which it does (albeit not very well). However, I WOULD STRONGLY URGE YOU TO LOOK AT THEIR FAQ LINK ON THEIR WEBSITE. This probably bolts right up to a Bad-Boy mower (I believe they are the same company?) but please understand on other brand mowers that you will have to drill holes in your deck, and use their try-it-till-it-fits spacer arrangement provided. ( they give you about 12 spacers and you are supposed to use a combination of different lengths until you come up with the correct height for your application-I will post a pic of the left over spacers.) It is important, and they do stress in the instructions......that the chute shield must be flush and sealed around the edges. They even recommend using C-clamps or a ratchet strap to hold it in place while installing. I have 4 complaints with this set up for my particular application:1. The provided instructions are very vague, and only provide an exploded diagram of the assembled product. Since you have to assemble the chute system before installing it on your mower, a few more pics would be most helpful.2. I did not feel that the (3) 3/8x4" bolts and spacer system that attach the chute system to the deck were sufficiently strong-their was too much "flex" in the mounting plate when you pulled the handle to open/close the chute. I ended up buying another bolt and some spacers and added a fourth mounting point-this did help quite a bit.3. The provided 1/4x3" bolt for handle spring to attach to is clearly not going to last. The bolt already has a slight bend in it and I am quite certain will have to be replaced with something heavier. I will attach pics of that.3. On my particular model (Gravely 152Z commercial) the area in front and behind of where the chute system is supposed to seal up sticks out about 3/8" of an inch more than the center (where the chute covers) so it does not completely seal at the top. When you mow with the chute in the down position, it blows the grass clippings out through this gap and gets it all over the top of the mower deck, and all over you. I will probably end up welding a piece of metal onto the chute cover to seal up the gap. I realize this is made for many applications, and am trying to keep that in mind for my review. All that being said, I do like the idea and if they would address a couple of small design features I would have given it a 4 star review.
