Great value compared to my more expensive gyro ball
I own a Dyna-Flex Powerball which was purchased some years ago, just recently dug it out and started using it again. Decided to look on Amazon at some others and was surprised that some are so expensive, upwards of $40 and some are even more than that. Didn't read into why that is. My Dyna-Flex cost around $25 and the same model (orange casing with yellow gyro ball) is for sale on Amazon. Looks like there's a newer model available now as wellBought the Summermax because it was inexpensive arrived today tried it out works pretty good. Again, haven't read up on the high-end $40+ models that other companies offer, but can't imagine they do anything different? Like get you more ripped or you become stronger because they cost more. ???The Summermax (my opinion) has the ability to offer more resistance than my DynaFlex. But it vibrates noticeably internally, whereas the DynaFlex (orange casing with yellow gyro) is smooth with no noticeable vibrations. Not really a big deal to me, the vibrations, and for the price it seems to be a pretty good deal.*edit*After using it for about a week, definitely offers more resistance than my Dyna Flex gyro. Went as far as going to the store and purchased the DFX Platinum, advertised to offer a max of 45 lbs of resistance. The Summermax still puts off more (at least at slower speeds) and it's nice to have the extra with less work. Don't have to whip the thing around to get a bunch of resistance. But the DFX Platinum runs smoother still, no real vibrations as opposed to the Summermax doing so.Overall very pleased. But not sure how long it will hold up, compared to more expensive models from different manufacturers.

Very Easy To Learn!
The media could not be loaded. Struggled the first few times because I was trying to start the gyro-ball just by rolling it with the fingers of my opposite hand. Once I gave it a good rolling start on a hard surface the gyro-ball gets good speed and I could quick enough find a rhythm to keep it going. It's a great workout and I expect it to help my left hand endurance for fretting chords on my ukulele and bass - the whole reason I bought it.I will pass judgement on people who write the negative reviews that they just aren't able to get the gyro-ball spinning fast enough to start the exercise. This particular model does not come with a wind-up string for a pull start but it is not needed as just rolling t along the countertop more than suffices. I show that in my video. Video also includes trying to start it by rolling it with my fingers and it just doesn't start up - you need a good long roll to build up speed. Once it starts though, just find your rhythm and keep it going.I'm very happy with this gyro-ball. It just seems to me that they're all the same except some may have that pull string start option - not needed as my video proves. I rated it 4 stars for durability because I have a German Shepherd dog and foresee her shedding making its way into the orb, but that will be the case with any and all brands and I'll just have to be cautious.

Great arm, hand, and wrist workout after you get over the learning curve
This is a great arm/wrist workout once you 1) figure out how to use it and 2) get the hang of it. I only gave it 4 stars because the instructions it comes with are in very broken, difficult to understand English. Watching videos other reviews made is very helpful, though. There are also numerous You Tube videos about it out there. Another reason I gave it 4 stars is because if you have weak grip strength or are unable to move your wrists in a circular manner, it will be impossible for you to use. I have moderate grip strength and weak wrists, so it always takes me a few tries to get it started. I think it’s a fun “game” to see if you can get it going and keep it going. At first, I thought the little light inside wasn’t working, but I wasn’t doing it correctly. Keep going until you get that light to appear. I really feel it in all areas of my arm after only a few seconds of use and I think I will have much better hand and arm strength after continued use. Overall, I recommend this item if you’re in need of an arm workout you can do sitting on the couch watching TV! To the makers of this item: please hire a native English speaker to edit your instructions. I used to edit research papers written by people with English as a second language and I know it can be upsetting to hear that your English is poor and many second language speakers get offended, however, I think it would help your company and your sales! I would’ve given you 5 stars if you had proper English instructions. To the buyer: throw away the instructions that come with it and find video instructions done by a native English speaker.

Fun and useful
I am a massage therapist and one of my clients showed me this product a while back. It is a great occupational therapy device for anyone. and also really fun as a decompression toy.My hands are more developed than most when I was at work, and I found this resistance to be light to moderate for me.It was really hard time for me to figure out how to control it. But once you discover the proper technigue of slightly rolling your wrist in a circle away from you, and then back, these will build up so much power that you can barely hold on to them. My colleagues loves to play with it. We had a lot fun with this toy. especially the colorful lighting.Definitely a worthwhile purchase and something that you can make use of where ever you are. Even small hand spinning movements is enough to make this ball super hard to hold. Very happy with the purchase.

Tricky learning curve, phenomenal results.
If you want to develop speed picking on guitar, this is your secret weapon. It is tricky to get it started and the directions that come with it tell you to roll it aross a flat surface- this is unnecessary; simply use both of your thumbs to roll it and hold it as you go in the direction indicated by the arrows. It will build tension. Release it and begin making an oval with your hand. Slowly tighten that oval as the gyroscope builds speed and begins to glow. Then try and hold on as long as you can.Quite frankly, i love it. It's highly addictive and makes you feel all super saiyan.
