So the good bit. It looks amazing the light its self is very well made.The bad bit the controller box is not water proof. The control cable are soldered to the board. the control cable is very short. The shrink wrap on the ends on the light looks a little poor. I am use this as external lighting for my patio and for the cost I cannot fault it. I would pay more for water proofing the control box.

Got this to light up a bit of dealing and it only lasted a week before it stopped workingHad the power pack in waterproof container and it still when wrong

Fantastic item. I've never seen anything like this.. It's nothing like a traditional rope light where you can see the little light inside. Instead the whole thing glows just like a neon light. The tubes aren't circular all round like a rope light. Instead they are sort of a oblong shape with flat edges and curved edges.... Bit like a running track with two flat sections and 2 curved corners. The flat sections are non translucent and solid. The curved edges emit the light. They don't mention anywhere but in the box is a packed of small metal u-channel brackets..bout 3cm long. These have two holes in them and screws are also supplied. These enable you to fix the light strike onto a surface..the strip clips into the unit-channel with the curved edge that lights up facing outward. The remote needs two small aaa batteries. The remote is very important as it's the only way to turn the lights off and on and control the functions. You can have 12 different colours static. But all the colours are used in the fancy sequences..fade, flash, strobe..you can't pick one colour to flash... They colours do it in sequence. Very very effective.

I have ordered this item twice and on both occasions the LED strip has faulted and turned a different colour or does not work! Awful product!!!

This item broke within first week ,poor product,poor remote control that is not strongly made came apart first week, light flickers when plugged in that's all it does and won't connect, absolutely poor factory production,and would not recommend.
