UNO plus - Perfection of a classic With the UNO plus, Klaus Botta has fundamentally modernized the UNO concept and also significantly improved readability. The enlargement of the watch diameter from 40 to 44 mm and the slimming of the case edge give the watch a much more generous appearance. The dial now occupies almost the entire visible surface of the watch. The scale, which is pulled to the edge of the dial, allows an even higher reading accuracy. The counterweight of the filigree hand has been increased to achieve an optical and mechanical balance. The double domed sapphire crystal underlines the elegant lines. But good design is not limited to aesthetics alone. For the technically oriented product designer Klaus Botta, function is at the forefront. In addition to the ingenious display, this can also be seen from the special underside of the housing. The hinge lugs are concealed underneath the case. Despite its diameter of 44 mm, the UNO plus can therefore also be worn on narrow wrists. The bevelled flanks of the case underside nestle against the arm of the wearer when the wrist moves. This allows maximum freedom of movement and unhindered air circulation. The unusual design of the underside makes the watch look even flatter. Each individual UNO plus undergoes a multi-stage manual test and several gear checks after assembly. The UNO is not delivered until it has successfully passed all tests and inspections.
