Arrived with color coded zip bar seals for each size. I use them for sous vide cooking. They seal very well. I am not comfortable using high weight plastic zip style bags in the heated bath water, as heat inevitably leaches chemicals out of the thin plastic. The silicone bags are easy to clean. I sterilize the bags using hot soapy water with a bit of bleach and invert them on my drying rack to air dry. The seal strips also clean and sterilize the same way. I do not put either in the dishwasher. The silicone does pick up the smell of strong spices and marinades (Insta Pot users note this with the silicone seal rings). I deal with this by reserving certain bags for those type recipes.

These are awesome. We use them to keep our wet dog food fresh after opening the package. We also use them to store our prepped lunches for the next day. They are easy to clean and are super durable! Best of yet is we save money on ziplock bags and are helping the environment at the same time. Would definitely recommend.

Loved these storage bags! The fact that they are reusable makes them completely worth the purchase. They are great for storing and freezing, and they are dishwasher safe!

Full disclosure: my lovely niece sells these bags, so I felt obligated to buy them in order to support her new small business. :) However, I was excited about this purchase because I could use them with a sous vide machine! I've been cooking with a sous vide machine for about a year and using plastic reusable bags and a small vacuum to suck out all the air. Tonight I used them for the first time to make some knock off Starbucks sous vide eggs. They worked out great!The bags are a bit larger than my hand so they can easily fit a chicken breast, or in this case 1-2 portions of eggs. I really like the silicone for this application as the bags are much stiffer and easier to fill than the plastic bags I had been using. The bags were heavy and actually stayed submerged in the water. With the plastic bags I had been using I always had to submerge a glass in the pot to weigh down the bags. I also liked that the plastic zip top could rest against the side of the pot. As for the eggs, they didn't stick! This means it will be super easy to clean.I plan to just store the cooked eggs in their pouch in the fridge until I'm ready to eat them this week. And since they're silicone I'm pretty sure I can microwave them without the plastic zipper and it should be fine.I'm excited to try to make a chicken breast next. The bags are very heavy duty and I can see them lasting a long time. They would also be great to transport lunch or snacks, but I don't think I'd use it with my first grade as the zip top might be hard for him to remove, and since it comes of completely I'd be afraid of not getting it back!These were a really great purchase, and I will actually get a second set so I can use them for my meal prep during the week.PS. In case you'd like my recipe for the eggs, here it is:Ingredients:-12 eggs-**1 head of broccoli cut into florets and roasted with fresh garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil-12 oz low-fat cottage cheese** The broccoli was leftover from dinner, I'm sure you could replace with any veggie or jarred salsa.Blend all ingredients in a blender. I had to pulse so I wouldn't get too much air in the mix. Pour evenly into the silicone bags, squeeze out air and zip. Setup sous vide machine to 170 degrees and cook for 50 minutes.If you've never had eggs this way they're almost like a creamy custard.

I have bags like this from others. I needed a lot (for freezing raw cat food by portion). The others would only sell one or two at a time - how silly is that! I also wanted no color, which these offer. The others insist on color mixed groups of 4. Since I have from several brands I can tell you that all of these are near identical. They even weigh the same. If it looks like this, it's probably very little different. Nobody's slider thing is really any easier or harder. Just put a dab of oil on when you first use and you'll be fine.

I wish I could give this 10 stars! Shipped quickly and was exactly as described. Great size and holds my lunch well. Better than my bulky tupperware. Love love love! I will definitely be ordering more as gifts for friends. Thank you!

The bags arrived quickly and the quality is great.They are eco friendly and wash well in the dishwasher. I’ve used them for food and liquids and I am very impressed they don’t leak and hold airtight seal.I love that they are reusable and don’t create unnecessary plastic waste. Ordering more to use seal phone and wallet when I go kayaking and boating.
