HIKENRI Bug Zapper Light Bulb 15W 2 in 1 Mosquito Killer Lamp 1200LM E26 Base Bug Zapper Light Indoor Outdoor

I have an exterior basement stairwell with a drain. Every morning the stairwell by the door and drain is alive with mosquitoes, bugs and, of course, spiders hoping to catch that feast.Saw a youtube review for this type of product, got it within 24 hours from Amazon Prime (Thank you, Amazon!) and set it up in a few minutes.Had to remove the glass cover (shade) on my exterior light fixture so the zapper would fit. The fixture is somewhat protected by a deck above so I'm not too concerned about it for now but, long term, not having some sort of cover on it will probably ruin it.Over night (12 hours of use), just leaving the purple zapper-light on, there were 30 dead mosquitoes and a few other flying things in there. No new spiders either.At some point I'll have to clean the dead carcasses off of thing. Not sure I'll still be feeling the 5 stars when that happens but for now am overall very, very happy that those 30+ mosquitoes won't be laying eggs thousands of eggs in my drain.

This is garbage. I bought a similar one from Home Depot which WORKS and this one, while functionally looks similar, with cheaper quality parts, does not work at all. I hate it and I hate that I wasted my money on it. Next time I’ll just buy the one that’s similar from Home Depot.

This is a cheaply made product. I ordered two bulbs and both arrived with parts separated in the box. After reassembling the bulbs I could see how cheap they were. Although they do work somewhat, the inner zapper cage is so loosely attached it could lead to a shock hazard. I will not use or re-order this product again. I also tested the brand "Pic" Bug Zapper Bulbs. This is a much better constructed bulb. Feels safe and looks like it will last.

Installed on my front porch where there are tons of little bugs that are attracted to my porch light. They swarm you when trying to get into the front door at night. This didn't help one bit. The bugs swarm this light still, but none of them fly into the trap/zapper part. Useless product.

This is one of the worst quality light I ever seen and I have been an electrical contractor for 15 years (installed hundreds of lights). Yet to catch a mosquito.Our three year old son asked what is this light, it bothers his eyes.Outside might be ok, but in my experience the LED light is extremely poor quality. I would not give this kind of light for my blind dog.

Product came in pieces. The manufacture box inside the amazon box was opened, bent, looked like it had been opened and abused.Light does not work. No bug killing ability of any kind. I even dropped a bug into it... bug flew away after bouncing around the inside like a pinball machine. Clearly either broken or a bunk product to begin with.

Honestly this thing is two sided. It works well within the designated switch operation. Light, "zapper", light "Zapper" combo does its job. And very well. But the Zapper part is where it lacks. Just buy a full on Bug Zapper lamp and move on. The light itself, very well lit and after about 8 months still works. So, outside light✅ Bug Zapper🚫

Nice bright light. Bought in summer, lit side yard nicely. 6-8 months later, the bug zapper part is very dim. Will see if still working when spring comes.BUT light still nice & bright!
