Captain Sports Long Elastic Compression Wraps - Supports Knee, Ankle, Elbow, and Wrist Joints

This elastic is very stretchy (feels "light" when wrapped), but is long enough to provide enough wraps to compensate. The end result is that it takes a little bit longer to apply, but it's more comfortable to wear. There are also velcro patches on both ends, which makes it easier to apply since it's possible to use one hand to perform the first wrap, use the first velcro to pin that wrap closed, and then have two hands available to perform the rest of the wraps.The appearance was unexpectedly better than what's pictured! The "white stripes" are actually transparent elastic strands, which provides aesthetically pleasing windows into the layers underneath when it's wrapped.

Wrap length is good & it's sturdy. Only complaint is the velcro end -- it's harder to detach than I thought it would be & it attaches to everything, which has damaged other fanrics.

Good length and very strong velcro closure. I use these straps to hold ice packs in place on my knees. I also use them on MAVA® ELASTIC KNEE SUPPORTs to keep the top edge from rolling down. This is my second set of this brand, chosen because of length and long lasting velcro.

I had foot surgery in November (2012). Icing had already become a way of life for me, and has continued as I heal. Having a wrap like this - along with those refreezable flexible ice packs - has made icing much easier and definitely keeps the pack right where I want it.The elastic wrap seems sturdy enough not to pull/pill with repeated use.Reasonably enough priced, too.

I love these wraps. I use the beige. I need a knee replacement in April, but until then, I wrap like a band, just below the knee and the support is marvelous. I just wish the velcro didn't cause the fabric to fuzz up so much. I literally wore my other one out so it just wouldn't fasten anymore.

Convenient length but I remain concerned about durability (fine after 15 uses)

#1: This fabric is scratchy against an already sore joint. #2: There is velcro at only one end. This means that the other end, the original end you placed on your joint to start the wrapping process....immediately falls out of the wrap and thus, gives one no support at all.Stick with wraps that have velcro at BOTH ends AND have cotton in them. This 'thing'....went straight into my trash as I couldn't imagine how else to repurpose it.

I like it - the velcro is holds but is not a killer to unhook. It's length is just right.
