Really good templates
I really love this book. It has very good card building instruction and all ot the templates are marked for easy to diffacult to cut or fold. However the reason I gave the book four stars instead of five is that the binding isn't "copier friendly". If you're going to make a book with designs to copy then make the binding spiral bound or open flat so it's easy to copy from. It is a little struggle to hold the book firm enough to use my all in one printer to make a copy. I made some copies of the templates I want to work with and used those to copy onto card stock. Other then that the book is very well done.

Inspirational Ideas
The book has some very interesting ideas in it. Even if I may not do the projects in it but it will inspire me for other projects.

Scan and Print
This book is kind of a bummer. The ideas are perfectly fine, but one of the first instructions is to scan in the designs and print them onto your paper so you can trace them out. I have a scanner, but the designs are only the right size for certain kinds of paper, and my printer will not print onto the smaller colored sheets I use. I've been doing some freehand, which is fine, but I really wish I'd known the book relied on these extra steps to create the designs shown inside.

Not what I expected
Unfortunately this book does not really provide what I was after. I expected a few card templates to require more than one piece, but not almost all of them. I was interested in doing designs from one sheet, like the piano, kangaroo or owl design. Sadly those are the only 3 in here and the piano is easily available online and the owl looks depressed, which means I bought a whole book for a kangaroo template, which I feel I'm unlikely to ever want to use. Had there been more "one sheet" inspiration, I might feel confident to design my own, but I was looking for a starter book and this is not it. Great book if you want to do pop up designs that require multiple pieces for construction and uses glue etc. Rubbish for one sheet kirigami pop up designs.

Gee
Origami with attitude, scissors and glue. This is a little gem of East meets West paper-cutting and folding traditions, beautifully illustrated with full-page templates. Some previous paper-cutting scalpel experience would be helpful but not entirely essential as some designs could easily be completed by cutting out with scissors. From simple tea-light holders to complex pop-up cards, this is an inspirational book and my copy already has bookmarks in about 12 different pages ready to have a go at!

Lovely Designs
I borrowed a copy of this book from the library and liked it so much I had to have my own copy. There are lots of intriguing designs with varied degrees of difficulty. Many are suitable for greetings cards. I have completed three of the easier designs so far; they turned out well

great book
This book has lovely designs, which look more complicated than they are. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I borrowed it from the library and was so impressed that I bought a copy for myself and one for my daughter. Well worth it.
