STEAM directer for pressure cooker pots....
I usually put the Instant Pot on the range top with the exhaust fan on as I don't like the steam to go upwards to the wood cabinets. Kind of a pain but worth not warping wood. I chose this "steam cannon" because it's cute -- ok, that was the 2nd factor-- because it promised to send the steam in the best direction to safeguard wood cupboards.Hubby used it and couldn't read the instructions. Apparently it was used incorrectly. But wifey set him straight on that.

Does the job
Does the job and diverts steam. Also the only product i came across that works with ip max valve.Only issue is it occasionally pops out when steam is being released.

Love it
Works great. Stays on and I won't loose. But it doesn't fit to tight to not come off. Color is not noticeable until you directly pay attention. So fun to take to potlucks.

Fits the steamer that does NOT have the protrusion
It's perfect for my steamer knob. My knob does NOT have the little protrusion on the side for turning it, mine is perfectly rounded on all sides. I had a hard time locating a diverter made for it, because most seem to expect the "turning stump" on the side. This fits perfectly, popped right on, doesn't pop back off when under pressure, and it does allow me to turn and redirect it easily.I have the 6qt Instant Pot Duo Plus

Inhibited the pressure
When using this product, my instant pot would not come up to pressure.

Sort of a good idea
It does indeed divert the steam, but consider first where you want the steam diverted to. We have to turn our instant pot with the display to the wall if we want the steam to be diverted away from our cabinets (which are to the right of the IP). With a different setup it would work fine.

Perfect For Instant Pot Duo Plus 6 Quart 9-in-1
This steam diverter does exactly what it is supposed to do. Easy to use and also very easy to attach and remove for cleaning. Super cute cannon design looks like it is shooting off when steam is released. This does swivel/rotate 360 degrees on my IP but not vertically like a real cannon. I think it just depends which IP you are using. Also, I noticed a negative review because it did not work for someone's Ninja Foodie; however, the product description is for Instant Pot pressure cookers not the Foodie. Very happy with this purchase.
