RnK 5" Dog Face & Paw BALLTIP Grooming Scissors Japanese SS

Excellent quality. I've been looking for some "safe" scissors for some time, but none have really impressed me. Although I felt initially that these were a little expensive the old saying is true in this case - "you get what you pay for".They seem well made, they cut cleanly and are nice to handle. They also look attractive.There are soft inserts on the finger grips, but these are easily removed if you have larger fingers/thumbs. I find them very useful as they aid with the grip, but I've also tried them without and not found a problem.Not only do they have rounded safety tips, but they are also curved, making trimming around your pets eyes feel much safer. I have 2 Yorkies and they both wriggle a lot when I am trimming their faces and I've always been nervous with "normal" scissors. I always felt I might end up stabbing them in the eye, but I feel much more confident using these.There is a small adjuster screw on the blades so hopefully this will help to keep the blades tight.All-in-all a good buy.

good quality pair of Scissors, good delivery. Well made , we bought them for our dog as the ends were rounded.

I bought these at the same time I bought some clippers as I wanted to also have some safe scissors to trim my dog's feet. The end is curved to avoid accidentally poking my dog which is why I bought them.The blue rubber inserts where the finger holes are keep falling out which is annoying. The scissors are fine and do have a nice gradient to trim around pads and paws but the rubber inserts need securing.I also found the blade a bit too wide but that's not the manufacturers fault. My dog is a medium size and has big paws but it was hard to manoeuvre around the paw with these blades.

I am so impressed with the Dog Face & Paw Balltip grooming scissors they are excellent, very sharpe and being curved are so easy to use for trimming around my dogs eyes safely.Also very good for cutting the hair from around the pads on her feet.

Good quality product the only problem is the part where you put your fingers in are far to small for men's fingers

These are ok but not great, edges do not meet and don't always cut.

Incredible value, these very sharp scissors make easy work of the thick curly hair and matts that appear everywhere on my little Cockapoo.Rounded ends mean I can get closer without nipping her skin and are great on the paws.

Pros:Great for cutting, did a great job and felt they were very safe for my two small dogs.Cons:1. Finger holes are far too small, even with the rubber inserts removed. By time I finished cutting my two dogs my finger and thumb were really sore.2. The Screw holding the blades together comes loose all the time.3. One of the extender prongs for addition finger support by at the top of the finger holes became loose after 10 minutes and then fell out. could not screw it back in as the screw threading was poor to start with. These prongs are essential because the finger house are so small.4. The scissors seems to have started to loose their sharpness by the time I finished my second dog.
