Best pillow I have ever owned!
If you are curious, you really should give this a try. I have purchased and tried so many pillows over the past few years. I have bought and returned Temperpedic, organic latex, Kapok, and so many different shapes and sizes. This pillow surpasses them all and wins! I purchased this exact one and the amount of filling they put was perfect for me. I have slept so sound since getting this. It has been over a month now and even when I sleep for a long time I never wake up with lower back pain. I have woken up with lower back pain for years!!! I have purchased so many different beds also trying to find the right one that would be comfortable and supportive.I am so glad I tried this pillow. It is supportive and firm, but soft and comfortable. I have no pressure at all on my head when I sleep. I don’t wake up with head aches or toss and turn from my back to my side. I just sleep so deeply and wake up feeling refreshed as apposed to being still so tired. The only negative is that I realized I am allergic to the filling. It says hypoallergenic, and the inside is definitely cleaned well. We bought another one like this at a farmers market in Tucson and the inside was not rinsed and it smelled so much! This one barely smells and it visibly clean. However, because of my allergy and how it was making me stuffed up and my eyes watering and itching, I had to put an allergy pillow case on it. That did the trick though and the allergic reaction stopped. The pillow case was super cheap from Walmart also, so an easy fix.I highly recommend you try this pillow. Very good quality also!On a side note, my husband hates this pillow because he sleeps with his shoulders on the pillow and it is uncomfortable for him that way. I have the pillow pulled towards my neck and above my shoulders and it is perfect! So, perhaps if you sleep with your head and shoulders on your pillow you may not like this. It doesn’t flatten enough for that to be comfortable.I hope this was helpful. Good luck to you on your pillow search. A good pillow that helps you sleep well is so very worth the hassle of finding.

Excellent pillow for back sleeper
Amazing! I have rotator cuff issues and have to sleep on my back. This pillow can be moved in the right way to support my neck while allowing my head to align with my spine properly so no more neck aches. I tried the buckwheat vs millet and millet is hands down the best. It’s much softer and quieter. There is a zipper where filling can be removed, I removed quite a bit and it is perfect.

Helps with pain! Warm though.
The pros: Adjustable! I took out 2 qt baggies full of millet to get it just right for me. Keeps my neck aligned and my head from lolling over when I’m on my back. And I can bunch it up to do the same when I’m on my side. It’s helped a lot with neck and back pain. And it smells nice. :)Cons: It’s so warm! I thought it was supposed to disperse heat but I feel like it traps it. This hasn’t been a huge problem since it’s winter but I’m a little worried what summer will bring since I’ve woken up with a damp back of my neck even in December. It’s also a little noisy. Not much, doesn’t wake me or my husband from a deep sleep, but I’m “too aware” of it at times when I’m only lightly sleeping. The cons are worth it for the pain relief though.UPDATE: After a year, I finally had to put some of the hulls back in. :) I’ve also learned that a silk pillowcase helps keep the pillow cool and disperse heat more. Overall, the pillow is still super comfortable and worth every penny.TIP: I thought I was allergic to it when it first arrived. Turns out the pillowcase was just dusty from transport and the millet husks getting banged around or something. I sprayed it with a dust spray and used the hand vac on the outside of it. Problem solved.

This is THE pillow!
After buying hundreds of pillows I finally found a genuine keeper!I have degenerative disc disease in my neck which means compressed discs, bone spurs, and chronic pain. Finding a pillow that supports my neck in a neutral position all night long comfortably has been the most ridiculous challenge of my life. Every time I find a pillow that I think will work, it either never softens (memory foam) or after a few uses the fluff compresses and you have no support. Every night I have slept on this pillow I have woken up with no pain. It's amazing!A few honest things to note:-the pillow does have a mildly earthy smell, but it's not overpowering, chemical, or strong enough to bother you. I'm also a chronic migrain sufferer with an extreme sensitivity to smells... the mild scent of this pillow for the first couple of nights genuinely didn't bother me at all and did not give me a headache. It did not keep me awake either.-the pillow is noisy. I would compare it to those cheap stuffed animals you win at a carnival filled with styrofoam pellets. HOWEVER, that's only while you're adjusting it. The great thing about this pillow is once you literally shape it around your head and neck where you want it you're going to lay still for the rest of the night and not hear the crunching of the pillow. It's not at all bothersome. It also didn't seem to bother my husband who was sleeping next to me when I would adjust my pillow.-spend the extra $10 to get the standard size. I bought the Japanese size to try the pillow not realizing it was only a $10 difference. The Japanese size is very small, like a travel pillow. It's great, and I'm actually glad I did buy it, but it's much smaller than I anticipated even looking at the measurements, possibly because I'm bad at math, lol.-seriously. Best. Pillow. Ever. My standard night of sleep consisted of rolling around adjusting and readjusting...staying up all night long to try and get comfortable while waking up with pain. Every night when I sleep on this pillow I wake up in the same position I fell asleep in. A. MAZE. ING.
