I have had this product for about two weeks. It works great for my indoor herbs, both in soil and using the Kratky method. The timer works great, and honestly, I'm really surprised with the quality of this product. The clamp holds really well, and the lights are easily positioned. My only complaint would be that I wish there was a version that was a little bigger. I'm going to have to keep my plants under a certain height, as the lights can be a little short. It's probably perfect for most people, but they could be longer. That being said, I wouldn't let this stop you from trying this light. It's quite effective.

Does it all as advertised...so far so good...Plain red or blue or both..Has the timer.. Quality necks on the lights. Strong clip and adds an ambience to the house that actually feels great and Xmas year around..lol.

We moved and our new place does not get as much natural light. I noticed that one of my plants wasn't doing to well, so I decided to get this light for it. It has greatly improved the health of the plant. It works very well as a grow light. I just wish that the arm things were stronger. It can be difficult to get them to stay in place. With a bit of effort, I was able to get them positioned correctly. The light that it puts out is strange, but it seems to work well for the plants. I am planning to get another one for my other plants.

Was very happy with these grow lights, as they got my sad orchids blooming in the low-light Pacific Northwest. But after 10 months of use for approx 10-12 hrs/day, the lamp's light output dropped to about half. I checked all the connections, verified all wires were in good condition, checked the wattage settings, and tested the lamp in multiple outlets, but nothing fixed it. All the bulbs in the lamp are still working, they just have dropped in wattage. The company's defect replacement period is only 3 months.To be fair, the price for these lamps is so reasonable that perhaps I have no right to complain. But money is tight, and if I'd known the lamps would last less than a year, I would have opted for a better model initially. Can't afford to buy new ones every year, and besides, that would be terribly wasteful anyway. If not for this issue, would rate these as 5 stars.So I guess it's a mixed bag.

I bought this to deal with the long stretches of overcast shortened days so typical of a North Texas winter, so that my plants get enough supplemental light. It does exactly what it is supposed to. My plants are leaning towards the lights and stopped wilting.The timer is great. You get a choice of 3, 6, or 12 hour cycles. Or, just manually control it. You can also adjust the red and blue spectrum, or run both. You can also turn on all 3 lights or turn them off individually. There's also 10 levels of lighting to choose from -- from 10% to 100% intensity. When you reach the minimum or maximum, the LEDs will flash at you to let you know that you've reached the end of the settings. Very intuitive to use.The clip is very strong. I attached mine to a Fort Worth telephone book since I didn't want to damage the "lip" on the molding of my windowsill, and placed it on a surface. It sits flat and sturdy.This lamp will NOT damage your plants, unless you are giving your plant an inappropriate intensity of light exposure, not providing enough humidity, over-watering, failing to provide fertilizer, or placing next to a heat/draft source that it should not be exposed to. This lamp runs cool to the touch -- my two year old son touches the bulbs without issue.I plan on getting a second one soon! I recommend it on the houseplant boards on Facebook.

This light is all over the place, it will not stay in a selected position, the lights simply look great and do nothing for my plants. Super dissappointed.....will not purchase products from this company again. Also had a co-worker purchase the same one...she sent it back.... i gave it a longer chance, but still did not help my plants.

Purchased this back in November 2018 to use during the winter months. At first it worked great but after a few weeks/months I started realizing that the light wasn't turning on or off when it is supposed to. I've tried using it this winter and have noticed if I keep it plugged in, it will turn itself on at random times for 30 seconds - 5 minutes before shutting off. The timer feature also seems to not work at all any more. And if I just manually turn it on it will often shut off after an hour or so. Oh well. If the light functions worked, this would've been a great lamp.

I love this light! I live in a small town in Montana and the only available spot for my African Violets is facing northeast and is covered by balcony upstairs. I bought this grow light in January when the sun is the farthest away. It really helped my plants get what they needed in terms of light. I would highly recommend this light!!!
