not as good as the old ones "As Seen on TV"
Works "ok" but I miss the one I have had for 5+ years. This one is very smooth with shallow recessed groves and a non-stick finish. I think the rougher texture and raised grid lines "old school" thawing trays have more surface area and thaw twice as fast.

Does Not Work As Described
It doesn’t work. I wish it had, but i’ve tried bacon, chicken, pork, and beef and none seem to work the way it’s explained. Each start getting a bit softer within about 15 minutes, but it seems the plate absorbs the cold and once the plate is cold, it doesn’t do anything.

It does not work unless the food is flat. We had to run it under hot water for a minute before putting food on it
