I have this outlet paired to a Pleson QC3 wireless phone charger on my pontoon boat's dash. it is providing the proper quick charge voltage to my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone.Installation was simple, as I just needed to remove an existing 12V cigarette outlet and plug in the new outlet using the existing wires. One adjustment was the original outlet had flat sides (for vertical alignment), so I had to grind the hole in the dash a little bit for new outlet to fit, and then be sure it was oriented properly.Another minor issue is that when a USB cable is plugged in, the nice LED voltage display is obscured by the rubber weather cap. I simply cut the rubber cap in half so the top USB outlet is always protected from rain and the LED is then visible with the USB cable plugged into the bottom.So my product improvement suggestions are to manufacture the threaded end with flat sides for a universal replacement fit and to provide two individual rubber weather flaps for the top and bottom so the LED is never obscured.

I am completely happy with this charger! It powers my Automatic wireless charger mount with no issues. The advertised QC 3.0 actually works and I get to take full advantage of the fast wireless charging for that quick charge/top off while commuting to work.The second outlet also is QC capable so being able to fast charge 2 devices is a big plus.Install was no sweat, being a technician for nearly half my life does help. Only issue I ran into was the original Mercedes cigarette lighter was just shy of 28mm while this one was just shy of 29mm. So I had to Dremel the opening a hair with a stone bit. Not a big deal to those who know what they're doing.I can't stand those people who give low reviews because they aren't competent enough to complete the install. Those critics are the ones who have no business attempting to install this or messing with vehicle electrical systems.All in all I can recommend with confidence this outlet to anyone considering it.

I used a 1 1/4 or 32mm circle bit and it worked perfectly. The voltmeter is pretty accurate. It is off by .03v. I tested this by using 2 well know volt meters and slowly drained a 12v battery to see when the voltage would drop on the sunny trip voltmeter. The fast charging works 100%. I tested it with a s8, s10 and s10+. I did get a chance to test it but very briefly with an iPhone 11 pro and in 14 - 15 minutes it went from 5% to 23%. The s10 in 4mins it went from 32% to 41%. The results was the same for the s10+, a 9% increase in 4 minutes. The s8 was surprisingly faster. In 4 minutes it charged 14%

Volt meter displays .1 to .2 lower than it should on my 24v system. Otherwise, this is a really nice unit: looks nice, solid, easy to install, and has an inline fuse. Both USB quick ports work great — it now feels like charging in slow motion with anything but 3.0.

I have been using one of these in my truck for close to half a year now and it is still going strong in Minnesota weather. I had to dremel out the original hole a little bit to make it fit but that was expected.In fact I'm so happy with these meters that I have started using them on our portable inverter carts at work in place of our old $100 battery meters. There is a slight loss in accuracy of course but these little things are still close to accurate (about 1/10th of a volt with a bit of rounding). They function at a significantly wider range of voltages than our old meters. They have a significantly lower parasitic draw than our old meters. They also allow employees to easily charge their phones as a nice added benefit. I have about 10 inverter carts using these deployed over the whole US and so far I haven't heard a single complaint.

Easy to install on my 4-wheeler. I just replaced the cigarette power adaptor with this dual usb hub to power my cell phone while I'm riding. I use Maprika to track my ride and show me what trails I've used, length of ride and miles ridden. I use a motorcycle mount for my phone, (also purchased on Amazon) and it works great. The USB hub also shows the current voltage of my battery.

Put this on my 2018 Ninja 1000. It fit the auxiliary hole perfectly. 4 years on it's still working fine so it seems to be pretty vibration/water/weatherproof. It's there to provide power for a tablet, phone or GPS and having the voltage monitor is great when I've got the heated gear turned up high. It's a little hard to read given the angle of the Ninja dash but that's not the unit's fault. I'll get one for my next bike.

Replaced a 12v power port with this. I hate having to find the adapter all the time. Volt meter stays on all the time, which you could get around by wiring it into a source that only turns on when you have the key on. I decided against that since I wanted to have the option to charge things with the truck running. Quality is nice and installation was pretty easy. Would buy again.

Easy to install. A great product and comes with a fuse!

It seems well made and does have a metal case like the description says. I wired it into the fuse panel to a keyed ignition source that way it can’t drain the battery. Had to lengthen the wires to make it work (no big deal) and I mounted it where the factory glove box latch would have been if it weren’t already missing. It even reads the proper voltage according to my test meter. I haven’t really used it yet as I’m still working on the van so that’s why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
