A Kid's Guide to Fly Tying Paperback – November 1, 2008

This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to learn how to do fly tying. Not only does Tyler share the necessary tools, but he gives detailed instructions on how to use each tool. For each of the flies in his book, he offers step-by-step explanations and provides photographs of the various stages. Believe me you will be fly tying in no time! I wish I had this book when we started a fly tying course for our students and parents.

My son loves this book! He was so excited to get it and look through it. He wants to tie all the flies! Definitely a great buy, I learned a lot myself from this great little book!

I ordered this for my 5 year old nephew who loves all things fishing. The book is definitely written at a higher reading level than he can handle but he will get much use of it down the road. He was thrilled!

This book is good for both adults and kids. If you are a beginning fly tyer with no help it is simple easy to understand, doesn't insult your intellegence and gets you started.

My grandson really liked the book. Now he wants to tie all of the flys described in the book! The photos and instructions are step-by-step and were easy to follow.
