Picks up SO much dog hair
I worked at a vet office that used these rubber brooms and after I left that job, I needed to buy one of my own. These are magnificent! They pick up all the hair that my 3 dogs shed constantly. The broom is lightweight but the brush part is pretty heavy duty. The bristles do fall off after months of use, but the rubber portion is replaceable. Definitely my favorite broom!

I work in a hair salon and this picks up even the tiny little bits of hair.
This is a testament to a very sturdy well-made product. Mine is a replacement of the same brand that I’ve had for about 10 years. I’m replacing it because after 10 years of use the threading to the rubber broomhead split and would no longer stay on the wood pole. How many devices can you say you had for 10 years that still work exceptionally after heavy use?!?!Unlike ordinary bristle brooms, You don’t sweep side to side with this, you reach out and pull the debris on the floor towards you. Also unlike ordinary brooms it does not raise dust, which is a big deal in a hair salon with lots of dander floating about.Using a typical bristle broom in the hair salon always left fine particles of hair on the floor which I would then have to use a swiffer, followed by a vacuum to pick it all up. if I didn’t do this three-step process, my mop would just be pushing the little hair particles around, and I would have to “rake” The floors after mopping. This rubber broom is a wonderful device that helps me collect all the hair on the floor and I have less clogging of my vacuum, also.I loved it so much I got one for the house. We have wood and laminate floors with three shedding dogs prancing throughout, and this broom picks up those tufts of fluff much better than a swiffer, without raising dust.I saw this broom demonstrated at a home and garden show many years ago and I fell in love with it. When my broom began to age from heavy use, I was duck taping it together… And I thought I would never find it again. Then I noticed a website etched into the back side of the broom and I was elated to find it on Amazon.I saw a negative review on Amazon for this broom and I think the reviewer was using it wrong. This thing picks up the small little particles of hair so nicely, and the dog fluff, along with the tiny little pieces of sand and dirt that the dogs track into the house that no typical broom or swifter could contain.Definitely would buy again, definitely would recommend to a friend!

Best Broom Ever
With 3 dogs there is an abundance of hair. This is by far the best room ever to remove it quickly. It’s also amazing on carpets. Just bought one for my daughter.

Floors= Rubber broom, Carpet= Vacuum cleaner
Works very well on hardwood floors at getting up dog hair, but not so well when using it on low pile carpet. It feels very sturdy. It's better that using a regular broom to sweep up dog hair. I will buy a carpet rake for my carpet to see if it will be more effective than this rubber broom.

Lightweight, but difficult on high carpet
This product is very lightweight to use. It takes a great deal of work to get results on higher carpet. I'd rather just use the vacuum. It is great on short fiber rugs and for use as a broom. I found that with a regular broom, some pieces may get left behind going through the strands; not with this. I prefer using it instead of a regular broom especially when sweeping loose cat litter on the floor due to it leaving nothing behind and being so lightweight.

Makes sweeping and mopping so.... easy!!!
Not much of a housekeeper- would rather be outside but this may change things. I read about the Dutch rubber broom in Organic Housekeeping by Ellen Sandbeck and decided to try it. I am using it for mopping, sweeping pet hair, and getting spider webs out of corners of 10 foot ceilings in a 170 year old house. (which is a daily occurrence in this old house with beadboard walls and ceilings) You might want to read the book about using it for wrapping it in old t-shirts for mopping and stuff but it is working beautifully!!!! My house is actually getting really clean. Love it! Bought one for my sister and am going to buy another one for my daughter and maybe one for me to use outside.

Smells and did not work
This item smells so strong that I had a physical reaction immediately before removing it from the packaging all the way. The rubber bristles are too soft to do much good. My husband told me to go ahead and try it. I tried it on carpet to pick up cat hair.. it didn't work. I tried it on tile, just pushed the hair around. I tried to sweep the garage floor with it, had to go back over it with broom. I tried cleaning my grout with it, too soft. I brushed the couch where the cat likes to sleep, did not pick up hair, did not cause static like it said. I want to return it but they are going to charge me a 15% restocking fee and state that it works as advertised.

very effective
sweeps my Labrador retriever's hair and any other particles not only from the carpet (medium shag) but also from the tile floors. I bought only the broom head due to some bad reviews on the handle. Using it with paint roller telescoping handle and it matched perfectly, the handle fits tight and does not come loose while using. Preferred the shortness of the broom head so that I could use around the furniture. It is extremely helpful cleaning the carpeted stairs where it did a better job than mine animal ball Dyson with attachment.
