They multiply so fast!!
I received these on December 20th however I couldn’t find the package until the 22nd! So they went into my tank on the 23rd. Today is January 3 so in only 11 days they have doubled!! The package came with more that 24 by far! But they are growing quickly.I’m even going to transfer some to my mom’s tank and see how long until hers is full. Thank you for a healthy great product. They came and sat in the package for an extra 3 days and not one was dead! They were vibrant and now flourishing!!!

Very Very small pads and they do not last very long either.
I got these to naturally cleanse the water in my fresh water aquarium for my tadpoles. They smelled like a rich, old, pond but that didn't bother me much becuase I kinda liked that smell, my husband, however, did not. But they were definitely a lot smaller than I expected, but seeing how it was for a midsize tank that didn't bother me much either. The tadpoles LOVED them! They were newly swimming and only a few weeks passed hatchlings so they provided an excellent source of nutrients for them. They were so cute swimming up under them and nibbling away. They only last nearly 2 weeks but they were very helpful in aiding the healthy growth of my tadpole babes so it was a good purchase for me.

Great plants but a couple of bugs.
Came in great condition none of them were brown. Only issue is there were a couple of bugs that came with the plants.

NOTE BEFORE BUYING FOR AQUARIUM
I got this for my 20 gallon long aquarium, as I was planning on getting some white cloud minnows, and they like floating plants to shelter in... and the crayfish hiding at the bottom of the tank is a savage little lawnmower who has destroyed every other live plant I've tried adding to the tank, so it HAD to be floating at least mostly out of her reach to even stand a chance. The salvinia came in looking a little rough, with almost no root to be seen because of shipping stress, but after just a couple of days they started sprouting. My main concern was that I hadn't gotten nearly enough for my tank- the amount I got didn't even cover a spot the size of my palm.If you are also getting these little beauties for an aquarium instead of a pond?THE SMALLEST AMOUNT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH.Good lord, the way this plant spreads out. A month and a half later, and my tank is completely covered in a thick, luscious bed of gorgeous, healthy salvinia. I've taken scoops full of the stuff out and added it to other tanks and it's spreading and propagating there, too. It's grown in so thick that the little plants are trying to stack on top of one another. If I had more surface area, they'd spread out and propagate all the more. The roots are around an inch, inch and a half long, soft, and spread out beautifully, making a little upside-down forest for my white clouds to play in. Like other floating plants, salvinia is a nitrate sponge, which helps keep my water parameters great. Between them hogging the nutrients and hogging the light, my constant algae battle in that particular tank has gotten much less frantic. And when the crayfish wants a salad treat, well, there's plenty of wholesome greens for her to choose from.Seriously, though, the way these things replicate is insane. I feel like I could fill a kiddie pool with this stuff by now and it's only been a month and a half. The only problem I've had with it is keeping my HOB filter from dunking it all under water (a floating ring of air tube solved that).Treat your fishies. Get yourself some salvinia. You won't be sad that you did.

Wouldn’t recommend
Honestly really disappointed.. I was so excited when I received this in a wonderfully packed box. Even had perishable on the label. However, upon opening I quickly realized most of them are dead or dying. At this point I’ll just take it as a fail and try somewhere else.

Look great. Filling in. Bees love them.
This small package was packed and shipped well. They are slowly filling in as you can see. I installed them early June and you can see how much they have grown by the photo taken Mid July. While I only received 20, as you can see there are tons now (wish I took a before pic). These are for my small Honey Bee watering pond and once they grow out a bit the bees love them. Provide a stable surface and easy for them to get the water through the plants. These are much better than Water Hyacinths for a small pond as they really float on the top and don’t clog the filter / pump.
