Arrived sharp and ready to use. Lasted for 1 trimming of 2 baby goats. Upon use for my 2 adult and 3rd baby goat the blades wouldn't cut and instead would warp around the hoof and not actually cutting. Couldn't cut heels at all and the nails were a challenge. Get something better if you have more than 1 or 2 animals or if their needs are more than first time trimming.

This is an excellent tool for the needed (every 6 week) trimming of goat hooves. Fits the hand nicely; safe, but sharp blades; excellently priced!

Works great for my pygmy goats' hooves. And they are tiny.

Learn from me....this thing will not cut your goats nails with any efficiency. Too flimsy. Kept going sideways.....just would not trim the hoofs properly. Now I have this piece of junk....and need to get one of the "expensive" ones to do the job properly.

The trimmers are too flimsy bladed to trim my sheeps feet. The blades twist on each other and won't open back up. In my opinion they are no good for trimming feet. I have been trimming sheeps feet for 40 years so I think I know what I'm talking about.
