Brinley Co Women's Hilton-wc Slouch Boot, Black Wide Calf, 7.5 M US

I have short legs ( 5' 2") so my wide calves start sooner than "normal" porportioned legs do. The first day i got them i was bummed i couldnt get them to zip more than halfway up. I was so bothered by it i literally dreamed up a solution that night, i seriously had a dream about it. LolWhen i woke up the next day, i did exactly what i did in my dream and my beautiful boots zipped all the way up! So what i did was once i got them zipped just above my ankles i slouched the shaft material down as i zipped up. This way the wide calf part was actually on MY wide calves. After theyre zipped i tug them up a little just to get rid of any extra slack. I love these boots! I do recommend maybe some gel insoles though, thats my only negative. Those are also pretty easy to come by so these boots are totally worth buying! 👍👍❤❤❤👌👌

I love these boots. I got them yesterday and I'm wearing them today. I have very large calves for a short person (5' tall and my calves are like 17" in circumference - it's a genetic thing). So, these boots fit better than any other wide calf boot I've purchased. I have to scrunch them down to zip them, but they are really comfortable. They don't feel restrictive like other wide calf boots I've purchased. It does feel a little big in the foot area, but it's not annoying. Enough room that I could wear thicker socks. By far the best wide calf boots I've bought.UPDATE: These are now officially my favorite boots. After a little breaking in, they fit even better. I don't even notice the "big feeling" in the foot area. I can almost get them fully zipped without having to scrunch them down. I now pick my outfit so I can wear these boots!Upgrading to 5 stars!

These boots are cute that's it ! They only last a few times and then they start falling apart! I've had these boots since The end of November and have only worn them a few times and they are falling apart! They are garbage ! The whole insole is coming out, you should only purchase the boots if you want a quick cute cheap boot for the night! I loved because they accomadated my wide calf, but I was hoping they could at least exchange them. So I sent an email if that was shot down so my loss, do t you lose too!

The toes are more square than other similar boots I have purchased online. That's nice to have something a bit different. The toes are roomy and the fit is appropriate elsewhere so they don't slide around. I do have similar boots I've worn for several seasons (a number of pair so dozens of wears) and these appear to be of the same quality. I've had a couple of dings on the other which I colored with a marker of the same color or shoe polish and otherwise they look new. (I didn't polish the whole boot - I put polish on the ding and wiped it off. Scraped one boot on a rock in the dark. I can't see the scrape unless I pick up the shoe and hold it in front of my face. Nothing peeled.)

Ok, I agree with some of the other reviewers that these do smell terrible right out of the package. The smell has dissipated with time, so I would definitely suggest airing them out and don't stick them in a closet right away! I was disappointed that the floor of the foot section isn't flat - the heel is raised slightly. I put inserts in for arch support (I usually wear shoes with really high/stiff arches like Birkenstocks) and they're OK but if the heel was flat they would be much more comfortable. I was not convinced that these actually fit until I saw a tip from another reviewer that you have to kind of fold the zipper where the slouch ripples are in order to zip them - this worked! Where the zipper is folded it is tight and can be uncomfortable if I have jeans shoved in there, but for the price I'm ok with it. They don't seem like they will last long, but again - for the price, I'm ok with that too.

The boots arrived as expected- cute, true to the pictures. However, I tried the boots on and I literally cannot imagine walking in them. The bottom of the boots have a firm, shaping material that ends at the ankles. So my ankle bone instantly rubs against the end of this material (cardboard?) and is incredibly uncomfortable. Sadly have to return because I have no idea how to wear these comfortably. Thick socks do not help.

I have wide width feet, these have plenty of room. The shaft opening/circumference is 17in MAX, not the listed 17.5 in. which makes the difference between fitting and not for me. I force the slouch a little and it works well enough. The real disappointment is the color. Their “stone” is Tan at best, was hoping it was lighter as the photo showed. I have supplied a photo, my sheet is a little darker than their photo of listed Stone color. Keeping because of the price and a need for a variety of color.

Nice looking boot that fits well - I ordered the wide calf ones because mine only sometimes fit into the regular-width boots, and there is even room to fit over boot-cut pants and not just over leggings or skinny jeans, so can wear with a variety of outfits. The only downside is the soles are totally flat, no support whatsoever and can get uncomfortable if you have to walk around in them a lot or have to stand in them all day. I'm going to try inserts and see if they help. Otherwise, if you're looking for a cute boot and don't mind the lack of support (some people don't!) or don't mind buying inserts, I'd recommend them.

After only 2-3 months of not even consistently wearing these boots, the soles have started to separate from the heal. One boot of which, already has a small tear in the sole at the heal. The soles are think and cheap. The boots overall seem like good quality but the soles are garbage. What good is a boot or shoe with poor quality soles?!

These boots look like a nice product on the website......boy was I wrong! they look like a glad garbage bag! Quality is better at Walmart! I am so disappointed! The fit is big and there is absolutely no support inside the boot for your arch. worst buy ever!

Ok boots for price. Look pretty good on. I walk a lot for my job so not good support for that but otherwise nice boot. Have had them a year and they still ok.

liked the color, size but didn't like the height - wanted a bit lower height - they fit great and look very nice.

I forgot to get a size amaller in wide calf, but they still look good.

Product feels cheap. It does look like the picture. But is very tight on the calf.

Had to order a 1/2 size bigger to get the color I wanted but all is good just wear thicker socks

I like these boots. Flat boots are hard to find. Just wish the front was less squared off.

Really great boot just wish I had bought a half size bigger, just a smidge small so I can’t wear them for a long period of time.

Only been worn 2 weeks and heels are already lifting......NOT what it should be for $80
