Two months later, the vacuum barely works, I hate it and I wish I could send it back.I've been using vacuum sealers for at least 15 years, I've never been so unhappy. The vacuum mechanism is weak and inadequate.It did work well initially, but is now virtually unusable. It does a somewhat adequate job of vacuuming bags that contain less than 1/4 of a pound, but it's not complete. It refuses to give a full vacuum on larger items. I'm finding ice crystals even in the small bags that have been in the freezer for less than two months-- they had an incomplete vacuum.It absolutely will not vacuum a one pound piece of a brisket flat. It doesn't like a flat fish filet. The vacuum pulls the air out for about 15 seconds, then releases the vacuum, so the bag refills with air.It appears that it's too late for me to return this darned thing, but I wish I could. What a waste of $200+.PREVIOUS:This is the fourth vacuum sealer that I've owned and the first time I've tried this brand. I'm very happy with this purchase.Operation is fast. The vacuum process is thorough and quick, as is the seal. I like the fan that cools it as it's in operation. The newer models of another well known residential brand that I've used have problems with the vacuum process and overheat quickly. This vacuum sealer seems to take half the time of the other models I've owned and eliminates the aggravation. No more canceling the seal over and over again until the bag finally gets a good vacuum.One of the important features for me is the pulse function, it's the most efficient way of sealing moist/wet items without making a mess in the overflow. This function seems to have been eliminated in other brands. I found it messy and aggravating to seal without the ability to pulse.Overall, this is a great purchase. My only quibble is that the power cord isn't very long, making it more difficult to set up on my countertop.

I wasn't sure what I was getting into with this vacuum sealer as there were not many reviews to be found on Amazon or elsewhere on the web about this unit. I was, however, quite impressed when it arrived (in 1 day no less) and the build quality is very nice. While the unit is still fairly light weight it is covered in a nice brushed stainless steel skin. It is very easy to use and comes with a short but well written english manual. It seals with a nice double seal, seems very powerful and comes to full suction very quickly. I really like the ability to tweak both vacuum time and seal times independantly. I has dry/moist food modes, a seal only mode, and a pulse mode. These functions are all available on a nice simple and intuitive LED display. The only negative is the listing says it comes with a starter kit including "1 Roll 8” x 10ft, 1 Roll 11” x 10ft" but they were not in the box. The quart and gallon bags listed were in the box. That only negative is not worth docking a full star however. As far as durability only time will tell, but it looks to be a very robust system so far. Also included in the box was a vacuum tube for use on vacuum containers but I have not had a chance to test that functionality yet.**Update**Customer service contacted me shortly after writing this review and noted that in my review I mentioned I was missing the bags that were listed. So they shipped me a large amount of bags/bag rolls to make up for the missing items. I feel like they really went above and beyond to support their product and I'll be happy to buy from them again. This kind of customer service is rare these days.

The media could not be loaded.  We made this purchase for our restaurant. We used it for a maybe 6 hours in total and it failed. At first it failed by not sealing and then it stopped turning on period! I’ve reached out to the company and am still waiting. No resolve yet and I’ve been in contact with them, jumping through all their hoops. They ask for a video and told me to submit to their fb page, I tried and there was no way to complete that request.Now they’re asking for my Fb ID and avatar info. This is ridiculous, but I’m going along with their game. I’m not satisfied, I spent $200 on this item and I didn’t get a quality product.

did not receive any bags with my dealer, so that was disappointing. I wish this model had a bag cutter included on it, other than that it works great and deals well.

This vacuum Sealer is the best food preservation system I have ever used. It looks great on my counter top, smart touch make it very easy to use. It makes the food storage much more easier and efficient. It also comes with some bags which is great. Overall. This is a nice looking and efficient food saver

I purchased this product because of the good reviews. The unit looks great on the outside. I first use it to seal 8 Costco prime steaks. Unit was hit and miss sometimes taking 3 times to get a proper vacuum. I thought for the price it would be much more powerful that the Costco Foodsaver, it's not. After the first used I did not use it again for six months. I purchased my Costco prime steaks again and after the third steak the unit just died. So after sealing about 11 steaks the unit is dead and going in the trash.

The vacuum stops too early, so there's always air in the bag.

We just received this on Nov 1, 2019. We tried it and found that the vacuum function did not work. You could clearly see on the rubber seal inside that when the lid was closed, it did not make contact with all areas on the rubber seal inside -- thus, failing to create the vacuum environment. Tinvoo has no website, no customer support, and the manual is poorly written. No diagrams in the manual except inside the first page pointing out what the pieces are. The manual mentions items that are not included with this unit (extras that you can buy), but you have no idea what they are or what they look like. There is also no place on the unit to store and cut the bag roll. Bags rolls have to be cut with scissors. Really not impressed whatsoever. Sent It back and we'll find a different one.

It stopped working within 2 months of purchase as if it were not plugged in. Had a friend look at it and there is power going to the machine but that's it. He took it apart and there is nothing obvious. Apparently, according to others, there is a 4amp fuse that blows and no one has been able to find a replacement. 300$ down the drain.

This product claims to have an 18 month warantee, but if you don't send it back within 30 days with Amazon, you'll be out of luck. The machine worked eh for the first couple of weeks, but now it shuts itself down after one bag. It's a pretty piece of garbage. They all are. I have yet to find one that is any good. This claimed to be semi-commercial which is why I purchased it, but my old food saver which was just as bad, did the same job.
