My Book of Amazing Crafts: Ages 5-6-7 (Kumon Workbooks)

My 5 year old absolutely loved this. Great to practice cutting skills and also some thinking skills to follow instructions.

This book is fantastic! Hours of pre-occupation. Really cool crafts that are easy enough for my 6 year old to do alone.

My little boy (age 6) couldn't wait to do this book and sat down and completed most of the book in the first session. The instructions for each project was clear enough that he required very little help and he was delighted with the results. With the aid of scissors and glue he made some very sweet models which could be played with (the result of good paper engineerig and design). The graphics are very tasteful and child-friendly. This is an ideal book to keep for a wet afternoon and the ideas in it have acted as a springboard for his own projects.

I bought this for my 6 year old son, who is quite creative, and he really loves it. All this required was glue and scissors and he was able to do most of it without help. Each activity takes about 10-15 minutes and the result is an interactive paper toy, which he enjoyed and was very proud to have made himself. I highly recommend this book for easy and mess-free craft times!
