Very light material, perhaps best to put in once you get to your hunting spot so tick protection would be reduced vs. wearing it in. Fabric looks more likely to get snagged on any little obstruction

It definitely repels ticks.
The ability to eliminate ticks was great. My husband didn't have any more problems after I ordered these for him. The material Is extremely thin and rips very easily walking through the woods. First day he had a thin tree branch snag his sleeve and ripped.
