Acid Free Wedding Dress Premium Preservation Box Bridal Keepsafe (Gold)

There was no instructions for this box. There was a "how to" video but it was for another box and used different products. My box did not have anything to protect my dress except tissue paper that I can buy at Walmart. So I wasted this money and now I still have to pay someone else to do it.

I purchased this box to provide safe-keeping for my wedding dress after getting married late last Spring. The box was packed appropriately when shipped - not damaging the inner box that would actually house the dress, so that was great. The inner box with the view window was sturdy and the top that goes on it, makes the box even studier. The only gripe I have is that the box did not come with any instructions as to how to appropriately package the dress, or completely assemble the bust form that comes inside or the view window that I still have no idea what to do with. Luckily YouTube is my friend and there was a good tutorial about how to package the dress, but the bust form I just copied from the bust form that was placed in my dress when I had it cleaned. The tabs on the bust form weren't necessarily the sturdiest, which resulted in me having to use a stapler to get the desired shape and wrapped the form in acid-free paper, so the staples wouldn't ultimately cause any damage to the dress over the long-run. But, overall, the goal of storage in a large enough, acid-free, pretty box was accomplished.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from the keepsake box.. I had hope that it was going to be good enough... Absolutely wonderful... very smart sending it in the double box, it's in great condition.. I love this keepsafe box... No question about it, it's the best I've seen & believe me when I say I shopped around... beyond pleased....If your looking for something to keep your wedding gown in look no further... heavy sturdy pretty I am thrilled... :-) thank you so much, but your photo & description doesn't do it justice....

The box arrived on time, & the packing was unharmed-however, when I opened the packaging I discovered that the outer box was damaged. There were two corner tears on the bottom portion of the outer box. The preservation kit comes with two cardboard pieces but no description on how to properly fold them. There was unwrapped acid-free tissue paper tossed in the box. My dress is fairly small in comparison to other wedding gowns (I am 5'2" and my dress is a size 4 petite). Needless to say, I was a bit surprised to find that is was a tight squeeze to fit my dress in the inner box. (I did fold my dress properly for a preservation kit). I am happy with the price of this purchase totaling in at $70 ($60 for the box and $10 for shipping) because stores such as David's Bridal charge $200.

My mom bought this kit for me when I got married. After having the dress professionally cleaned they put in this 'dress saver'. Have kept my box inside my closet or under the bed. When i took the dress out there is a yellow stain down the front of the bodice that was not there when it was originally placed into the 'dress saver' box. So disappointed!

The box was torn when I received it. There were no instructions as to how to put the form together. and I still had to fold the dress twice in order for it to fit.

I got this box to keep my dress safe and prevent it from yellowing in time. My wedding had to be postponed so I haven't actually worn my dress and won't till the summer of 2014, reason why I had to store my dress in this box as my wedding date is now more than a year out. That's considered long term storage and I want to make sure my dress makes it through the year in perfect conditions for the big day. I just wish the box came with more acid free paper to work with and that I knew how to put the cardboard bust forms together to prevent the bust of my dress from loosing its shape. I had to use the paper the dress store provided me with to do a paper bust form, but I am not sure if it is acid free paper, I am going to have to keep a close eye on how my dress is doing through the year. My dress has a big train so I was a little concerned about the box not being big enough. The size was just fine. So far. No major complains.

The box was easy to assemble and quite large for the dress to be loosely folded. Fits very nicely under the bed.
