Doesn't deter determined varmints
I got this because raccoons and/or possums were digging up my back yard for grubs. I installed this per instructions. It's deterrent factor is dubious at best. It comes with some pretty lousy NiMH 800mah rechargeable batteries, which I replaced with 2000mah AA cells. I think it would be more effective against stray dogs/cats, as they seem to be bothered by the sonic deterrent (high frequency audio). The flashing LED only gives raccoons & possums a reason to try their best 'Disco moves' on your lawn. Get a 'trail cam' to find out what time the varmints are intruding. Then, set your alarm and wait for them with a good pellet gun.

love this. i dont understand the bad reviews
I have been using for a few months now. I love this thing. My neighbor's cats were peeing in my flowerbed every day and making the entire front of my house smell. I put this in the flower bed and haven't had cats for months. I have it in the sun and I have never had to charge it. Mine gets lots of weather and still works great.

Terrible quality, and expensive
PricyI bought 1 and it worked indoors , but the outdoor one failed after 1st rainToo bad it was after 30day Amazon refund period. Happened about 65 days into owning.

Doesn’t work, save your money
Didn’t work on the feral cats. We still found feces in our front yard. Not worth the money.

Don’t waste your money
These aren’t worth the money I paid for it. The deer just stand next to it while it’s beeping and the lights flash. It has NEVER scared them at all.
