By far my favorite for most purposes is ecosystem
I am new to ecosystem and have been researching Moleskine, ecosystem, Leuchttrum and others. By far my favorite for most purposes is ecosystem.PROS:The cover is durable as well as flexible. It is stronger than Moleskine making it less likely to get warped in bags. I'm assuming that it is less likely to get damaged as well. The color is a richer and more beautiful blue than pictured here. Personally, I loved this.It feels solid and of good quality.Made with recycled materials and in the USA.The lines are dark enough and not too dark. I found the lines in Leuchttrum to be too light and they seem to disappear under certain less than optimal lighting conditions.CONS:The lines are just a little too narrow for me. I love fine writing with find pens, but at the end of the day it was so fin that I have a hard time reviewing my own notes if I use line for line. I'll adjust to the difference. Personally, I prefer the narrow spacing just a tad less narrow. It seems that ecosystem is putting out less product. I have contacted them a couple of times with questions and weeks later haven't received any response. In addition, I have been unable to find the registration on their site for each journal.OVERALL I really love these journals and would like to see this community do well. Of all the journals I've looked into, these are my favorite due to colors, quality of paper and cover, overall durability, number of pages and visibility of lines.I'd love to see more color options and more availability.

Good quality notebook
I ordered four of this notebook in different colors to use for school. I hate the wire-bound notebooks because they snag and get caught on everything and the covers tend to fall off. These are a little smaller, size-wise, than your standard 8.5 X 11 inch notebooks, but every page is perforated for easy removal (unlike with Moleskine notebooks) and there are a useful amount of pages in each notebook. A bit pricier than I'd like and the binding is pretty stiff but in the end, I'd say it's worth it.TL;DR --PROS: 100% recycled, all the pages are perforatedCONS: kinda hard to keep open, $$

fine (overpriced) product
the consolation is that this item is just as overpriced in the wild. i bought this item to complete a set of semi-permanent notebooks i keep. for anything as transitory as a school notebook i cannot in good conscience recommend this item. if however, you mean to keep for journal or diary and you have the coin to splurge on premium recycled paper this is a fine quality ruled book.tl/dr = good item, $$, same as stores

These are good quality journals
These are good quality journals. I use them for work. I like the large size because I can print out information and forms that I need and tape them into the journal so that I have them handy wherever I am at work.

Lovely Journal
This journal is wonderful! The large is not too large to comfortably write in for me. The color is vibrant and pages have a nice feel- and respond smoothly to both ballpen and gel. I love it that they are eco-friendly and will purchase others- the colors look luscious.

Great
Have been looking for a durable notebook for a while. Use to use the moleskin products, but they weren't very durable. The ecosystem notebooks are amazing. They are recycled products, very durable and cheaper than comparable brands. I am very happy that I found this product. :)

Good quality paper, so so construction.
I would have loved to give this notebook a 4 star review, and if I were reviewing my watermelon colored one, I probably would. However, this second notebook (in the color Lagoon) has not stood up very well to very minimal use. I have been using this notebook as a study journal for some personal study. I have 2 kids and a job, so the study is slow going. I have been using the journal for a little over a month, but nowhere near every day. As of now the elastic band and the book mark have both fallen off. I'm not too impressed with that! That being said, I am impressed with the quality of paper. This paper can take several different kinds of pens with no problems with see-through or bleeding. I have used a Zebra Sarasa .3, a Pilot Easy Touch ball point pen in medium, a Platinum Preppy fountain pen, and a Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen with a fine nib and Diamine Sepia ink with no problems whatsoever. I am able to write on both sides of the page, which is good news for a notebook that is supposed to be environmentally friendly. I also tried my Chinese Wenliang fountain pen with Noodler's Lexington Grey ink. So far this pen/ink combo has bled through everything (though I haven't tried any really premium papers with it yet). Howver, there is only some medium ghosting with this paper. So, now it's for you to decide. My experience with the quality of construction of these notebooks is 50/50. I am extremely impressed with the paper. So which will if be. . .form or function?

Great notebook. Pages are thick so no bleed through.
