Good for awhile
It does keep my 2 year old out of the rooms. My 6 year old even has trouble opening the doors at times where she gets frustrated at them. ha! But it is pretty easy for an adult to use.Update: These were great for about half a year! My son will be 3 in 4 months and now just recently found out how to just take these off the doorknob. I had to use zip ties around them just for him to not take them off the doorknobs to get in certain places. But I guess that is what happens as the get older. They get smarter! Don't need these too much though now at his age. Getting a little better to learn not what to go in or touch. So I recommend these for 2 and under possibly!

They don't stay on!
These door know covers are mediocre at best. They aren't particularly easy to get on (for how simple they appear to be) and they can fall apart pretty easy. Also, don't count on these units to work on every door. They were too small in diameter for my front door. My interior doors seemed to work but my 2 year old managed to remove 2 of the three covers I installed. Can't recommend these.

Great for what I need
These do the job for the most part, but do fall off easily if played with a lot. They serve the purpose I need them for though...I like that there is an opening so that I can lock easily, but I'm sure that will be a problem if my toddler locks me out haha! These are in my opinion, easier for me to open the door, Versus the other safety door knobs I have, which is the main reason I like this one...we shall see in time if I change my mind ;)

NOT a GRIP cover.
These are not twist and grip. That description makes you think it is the silicon kind you GRIP to turn. Nay. These are the hard kind with 2 tiny little cut-outs that you have to pinch with two fingers. My caveman husband and his caveman hands cannot operate these. Returned upon opening the delivery box.

so I would recommend these over other brands that can be so much ...
It works well so far after a week with my son who is about a year and a half. My other kids who are 5 and 6 and who I want to be able to open doors did well learning to use it the first day, so I would recommend these over other brands that can be so much harder to use even for adults.I will say my 5yo had to come up with a technique to get her hand to fit on both sides of the cover but she got it worked out.

These work great for keeping toddlers out of rooms they shouldn't be in. We have an in-home daycare so these are all over. The main problem is that sometimes older people have trouble operating them, and over time I've had a couple of them pop off.

Does everything it should.
These guards are easy to install and have prevented our toddler from open doors. He's a quite clever 2-y-o, so defeating him is not always easy. They fit over a range of doorknob sizes and styles and are relatively easy for adults to use.The only complaint I have is that they don't snap closed more securely. A few times in a rush I've squeezed the guard instead of the openings and the seam can pop right open. Not a big deal, but it does force me to stop and reinstall the guard.

great baby proofing door knob covers
Used as baby guarding our house, we use the door knob covers for all the door that lead to the exterior. Can be used on any round door knob, and my three year still has not figured these out (he has literally unproofed all of the other baby proof items in the house.) The dark color works great on our dark bronze colored door knobs.
