Fosmon Outdoor Photocell Sensor Wireless Remote Control Outlet

We use this for our outdoor string lights on our deck and works really well. The remote to turn on/off is great, hanging on a keychain right inside the door, so it makes it easy for on/off during the night. Easy installation and although it's waterproof, we do keep the outside adapter in a plastic bag to keep the water/elements away. Great product!

Easy to install it works perfectly! I have it hooked up to a fountain. The remote control makes it so easy. I can turn it on and off from inside the house when I’m by a window.

Works perfectly except its settings (dawn-to-dusk, dusk + 2 hrs, etc) are electronic (push-button) instead of mechanical (which is mostly necessary for it to be able to be used with a remote). Consequently though, if it is downstream of a separate clock-based timer that cuts power at a certain hour (this device can only go off relative to sunset, which time varies over the course of a year for most non-equatorial latitudes) then when power is restored the next day the unit defaults to being off, and not coming on again at dusk. Other photocell timers with physical dials do not have this shortfall (but likely do not come with a remote). For most folk, having the remote is likely worth the trade-off.

I recently started using this multi outlet remote control timer by Fosmon. It came at the perfect time, as we recently got a new reptile that lives in a terrarium and needs a certain amount of UVB lighting each day. I was able to plug the UVB light into this and I can set it to run 2,4,6 or 8 hours. If I want to turn it off or on during this time, it comes with a small remote control that reaches from all over the house. It’s super convenient! I also can’t wait to use this outside for my Christmas decorations!! It is weatherproof and has a dusk to dawn option also where it turns itself on and off based on the time of day!

Easy to install, plug it in use key chain control.

Great product. Held up without any issue for almost 2 years. But when I did run into an issue (may have been user error) the sellers couldn't have been more awesome. Good folks!
