Great for .22 ammo!
Bought this for carrying loose .22 shells for my Rolling Block and CZ bolt action. Overall this pouch hits on all cylinders!! For only $10 this is some quality thick leather with solid stitching. The magnetic closure is easy to work with but doesn't seem like it'll open by itself in the field. The internal leather flaps look great for ammo retention but do make it a little cramped to get rounds out, I might trim them back some. Holds roughly 100 rounds of loose .22 ammo, plenty for a full day of plinking and more than enough for an entire season of hunting, but doesn't take up much space on the belt. The belt loop fits my 1.5" bullhide gun belt perfectly, it's not too tight. Overall this is exactly what I was looking for and am glad I bought it, GREAT option for the price and would work well for everything from .22 ammo like I use it for to slingshot balls to air gun pellets etc.

Just right
Once this leather is worked in so that it opens with ease (it is thick, good leather, so it will be stiff when new), it is a near-perfect way to have slingshot ammo at hand. I good quality leather conditioner will help with break-in, by the way. No pouch bouncing around as you walk — just ammo on your hip, where you need it.

It will do the job.
The pouch is heavy duty. It will hold my 22 shells just fine, and last for years. I am applying leather conditioner to soften it up and darken it. The only thing is it does stink. I do believe the smell will lesson over time. I am happy with my purchase.

Holds stuff
Very nice leather pouch, bought it to hold loose .38 and .22lr ammo for my revolvers and levers and that it does. Could also make for a nice pocket watch or compass holder.

A classy handsome item
I purchased this item for belt carrying lead 50 caliber round balls for my flintlock muzzle-loading rifle. It holds about 40 balls that size. The pouch has been very handy, serviceable and attractive. The leather is surprisingly thick and sturdy so it will hold it's shape well. The magnetic snap has proven secure for field carry and I've grown fond of this belt carry pouch. I recommend this item to anyone wanting a belt carry ball pouch.

100 % leather and sturdy and thick.
I love this little bag ,it's made like a tank. It's thick heavy leather ,nothing cheap or thin about it. But it is small. I use mine to carry .490 Hornady balls. and ticking . And the belt loop is not going to break ever . If you have small items to carry like .490 balls it's the bomb. If you want to carry your lunch or a 4 inch knife forget it. It's like a marbles bag ,except 100 times thicker and sturdier . For reenacting ,or civil war ,or early American frontier look it's perfect. Peace.

Stiff
This pouch is stiff. Super stiff. I bought this as a slingshot ammo pouch to use while shooting but it's not very good. The flaps that close over the opening are extremely stiff. Almost to the point of essentially being unusable. And the belt loop is insanely small. I had to use a small carabiner because I don't think I've had a belt that thin since I was a kid in the 90s. To be fair my last belt was built to hold heavy objects and my current belt is my old military issued belt, till I stop being lazy and go buy another belt. But still it will probably hold a belt that's an inch wide, but anything larger and you'll probably need a carabiner.Hopefully the flaps loosen with time, but other then those flaws it looks nice and it gets the job done. Just not exactly high quality. For the price it's a coin toss if I'd buy it again or try something else.

Just About What I Was Looking For
I purchased this to carry my air rifle pellets. The leather is thick & needs some softening but if you're willing to treat it with a softening agent, it is handy to have on a neck lanyard. It works well for my purposes.
