Zensect Moth Balls Lavender Fragrance

They smell good I hope they work because I'm sick of the moths.

I bought this after reading and hearing that moth balls work against carpet beetles so I thought I would give it a try, however they don't seem to work against the beetles, as I still get them. As for moths, I have not seen any, but then again, I didn't have moths before.

I am not entirely sure how well it works, since I started using it after having already dealt with the moth infestation through other means and I still see the occasional moth.What is troubling about this product is that neither zensect.net (supposedly the official site) nor www.cadum-iba.co.uk (the manufacturer's site) are valid addresses as of the time of this review. Which means that one cannot inquire about the toxicity of the product.The box says "safe for all the family," but what does it mean? The active ingredient listed is Transfluthrin 0.52% w/w. The box lists a number of warnings in smaller print, including "R50/53 : Very toxic to aquatic organisms."I was trying to research the product's safety for pets, but unfortunately, there is no easy way to find out, as neither the brand, nor the manufacturer's sites are in service.
