100% Natural Moisturizing Lip Shimmer, Peony - 1 Tube (01821-20)

I own 3 of the following Burt' Bees tinted/colored lip care products: ~Lip Shimmer in Peony. ~Super Glossy Natural Lip Shine in Sweet Pink. Item comes in a clear V shaped squeeze tube. The description on the back is spot on, "Moisturizes like a balm with a juicy fruit flavor and a sheer color gloss". IMO the smell/taste is reminiscent of a fruity Bonne Bell chapstick (it's been a very long time since I've used one of those, so I couldn't tell you which flavor exactly). ~100% natural lip gloss in autumn haze. Item comes in a short/skinny cylinder tube with a sponge tipped applicator wand. All three of these items have low to light color tint. The 100% natural gloss had the highest amount of shimmer/subtle sparkle followed by the Lip shimmer and the Super Glossy. ~After drinking/eating/blotting all wore away evenly and did not leave behind unsightly color staining on the lips. Of these 3 my favorite was a tie between the lip shimmer and the super glossy. I adored the high moisturizing content of the lip shimmer, it was basically like using the original Burts Bees lip balm (one of my must haves where ever I go) but with a shimmery-low to mildly saturated lip color. I also loved the Super Glossy because it's lightweight, shimmery, high gloss and has a pleasant smell/taste. To get the best of both products I like to use the lip shimmer first and top it off with a dab of the super gloss. My least favorite was the 100% natural lip gloss. Loved the subtle color and the light shimmery factor. However, the product has an unpleasant sticky/tacky heavy feel to it which reminded me of Mac Lip Glass. After applying it, and parting the lips you can feel a slight resistance while with the Lip Shimmer and Super Glossy your lips easily glide against one another and part with no noticeable resistance. I also didn't care for the smell/taste...the closest thing I can compare it to is the smell/taste of a very green banana. In summation I definitely recommend the Lip shimmer, I plan to buy more when I run out =) and if you like high gloss I also recommend trying the Super Glossy Natural Lip Shine.

This is a great lip shimmer. It is one of the few I have tried that has a light color to it but doesn't dry out my lips. It is a lip "shimmer" and the shade isn't a matte finish, it is a shimmery finish. But I have 4 or 5 of these in the Peony color all over the place since I lose lip sticks like it is my job! (Purses, desk at work, makeup case, car...) Amazon has a great price and it's even cheaper if you have it on subscribe and save. I have also tried the fig shade but it was a little darker than I would want for everyday wear. I wear that if I go out at night. I use this in place of lipstick. The color doesn't last as long but this doesn't dry my lips out the way the lipsticks usually do. Great product with a great range of colors for everyone.

This is great lip balm, and it is gently colored, not very strong and obnoxious. Some of the colors are Frosty as well. I have not received this yet and I have never tried this color, but I have tried the rhubarb and other colors and love them! This is slightly minty and very fresh feeling and keep your lips hydrated for quite a while. It does leave a slight mark on a straw or someone's cheek, but wipes off easily! LOL

This color was so pretty. It feels just like the usual burts lip balms, minty-tingly and smooth. Moisturizing but like and average lip balm to me. Lasted surprisingly long. A good bag essential and, this color specifically can be used for a makeup look as well. P.s the packaging is CUTE.

I like this lip shimmer from Burt's Bee's. I ordered the Peony color, which is very light, kinda shimmery looking, and with a hint of pink. It feels good to wear, makes my lips feel moisturized, and cool as hit has a mint flavor to it. I wear this when my lips feel like they are starting to get dry and it heals them pretty quickly. I would buy this again but more than likely in a different color. Not because this color is not nice I personally like a little more color and pink is not my first choice.

Just the right amount of color so it looks natural but very pretty. I literally carry one of these in my tiny wallet at all times (alternate between peony and watermelon). Both are beautiful on my light skin (blonde hair, green eyes complexion). Moisturizing, but not sticky or glossy. And with its thin profile, I've even been known to stick one in my bra (right between the two... cups) and it stays hidden really well. That's when I dress up and have no pockets and leave my wallet somewhere while I hit the dance floor. Stuff like that. : ) Good for a touch-up. But maybe I just have really dry lips... lol.

Bought this to try out wanting a tinted lip balm. Very moisturizing, however color shine and Sparkle is very minimal if noticeable at all. If you are looking for something with color I would not recommend this particular shade.

Un bello color y excelente bálsamo. Me sorprendió su tamaño esperaba mas producto pero no es necesario mas , con un poco es suficiente.

Es un muy buen producto ; lo llevo usando desde hace años y ahora con Amazon.com.mx lo tenemos en Mexico!

Lovely nude colour, minty tasting on the lips and I've used this colour for a few years now. Quite hard to get hold of sometimes so as soon as I see it available, I snap one up.
