SunJel Fume-free Firespace Gel Fuel Canister, Pure Gel, 6 pack

I bought these for my mother as a replacement for the ones she got in her faux fireplace. I was so disappointed in the ones that came with her fireplace, but I read reviews on these and decided to give them a try. I love them! They crackle just like a real log fire would, and they put out a nice amount of heat for the size of the canister. No smoke and no smell made these a great Christmas present. I am very happy I went ahead and ordered these. Made our Christmas seem extra special

These always arrive on time and work great in my gel fuel fireplace. It's a great value and you can't beat the ease of having it delivered to your door.

Doesn't say you can't use in firepots. Is advertised as a gel fuel, which is what firepots use. But then you get it and the paperwork inside says you can't use with any brand of firepot.

These only work for one day. Very disappointing for the price you pay. Would be better if you could find a way to preserve the fuel for multiple uses. The product does work great but like I said, the joy is short lived.

This is not totally fume-free. It's better than the real flame cans but at the end of the cans burn-off smell gets very strong. Which means we can't burn these cans all the way down and they already only last about an hour and a half.Also- we received the wrong cans and getting replacements was super confusing. Amazon didn't understand what was wrong and so we dealt directly with sunjel and they were a nightmare to get ahold of. Long story short took an extra 2.5 weeks to get our order right. They sent us citronella outdoor gel cans. Um- no thank you.

I purchased these to try in place of the gel fuel cans made by real flame which have a very strong odor. These have significantly less outdoor and there are no paper labels to remove before burning. My only complaint would be that almost every can was pretty dented when i opened the box. There needs to be better packaging.

This is a good product but I prefer the Real Flame gel because of its longer burn time. I do like that SunJel doesn't have labels that need to be removed prior to use, and I appreciate the zero odor and natural crackle. However the flame is smaller than Real Flame gel and it burns about an hour shorter.

Switched from Real Flame to SunJel. We have used Real Flame for a few months and I was not happy with the odor to the point of getting a headache. Opened the SunJel (loved no paper to peel off the cans) with a flat tip screw driver, found a little bit of an alcohol scent. The SunJel is more liquid than solid gel, which made shaking it up a lot easier. I took advise from a previous reviewer and let it sit about 15 minutes prior to lighting it. The odor disappeared within two to three minutes. After lighting, the flames appeared much brighter than the Real Flame flames with the same crackling sound a real fire would produce. I cannot say much about the heat, because our living room is very large. It has been burning steady now for well over two hours. I will absolutely purchase this product again. By the way, standard shipping was insanely fast. Happy with my purchase!
