Works exactly as described. When placed directly below the door knob and screwed down properly — the door did not budge open when force was applied. I have used the “stick” type door stop but it stopped working in less than 2 months after the “foot pad” i.e. the part in touch with the floor (mine was vinyl tile) wore out.

No need for any photo or fancy movie to review these. These things work, they are very easy to install and very difficult, if ever, to overcome; door hardly moves while in use. I struggle to admit that anything made in China fancies me, but I am going to purchase again another set for my daughter who is an elementary teacher. Yes, that thing will definitely be handy if needs be, the "lockdown" name is quite appropriate. I do not know the material but it is strong enough to give enough minutes to be "prepared" inside a house or apartment, and also to dissuade an 'intruder' from spending interest, time and effort to overcome its 'protection'. Watch the other reviews for how to use it if you need. The instruction booklet included is written for 'supervision' which I do not have, but I can use my own logic and that was enough to learn how to operate the main item, for the extra rubber gadgets go online. I am 100% satisfied and I do not care for the price (you receive two anyway) or other brands, I will purchase a second pair right now (I received them today). Whether you call 911 or 811 these things will give you precious time on inside doors too!

Not a bad item. But it doesn’t work to secure a door which borders a tile floor. The unit slips off. Tried it on a carpet and cement floor and worked fine. But I needed it for a tile floor so I returned it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product doesn’t work on doors with normal household thresholds. Screw length is too short. Pivot mechanism prevents tight fit. Discovered too late and missed return window, so we’re stuck with them. Expensive mistake. Caveat emptor.

Works great! Easy to use. Use this when traveling and staying in hotels. Takes only seconds to place or remove from in-swinging doors.

Can't be applied quickly, so it's not safe for emergencies. There is a specified minimum door gap in the description, but it also doesn't work in a gap of more than half an inch. In my experience, it only works reliably when used with a second barricade device. It definitely can provide increased security, but not in an imminent emergency and not as the only doorstop device used.

La porta su cui abbiamo provato ad utilizzarlo aveva le caratteristiche utili descritte nelle indicazioni, il pavimento era un normalissimo pavimento a piastrelle. NON FUNZIONA!!!

May not be applicable in every door configuration, but device is effective for the most likely use scenario, especially hotel room doors, or front doors with simple doorsill to floor relationship.

Bonjour, Objet utilisé lors d’un séjour à l’hôtel. Très grande facilité à mettre en place et très efficace. Robuste dans sa fabrication. Les différentes cales en caoutchouc livrées avec le bloc porte doivent être utilisées avant le placement de celui-ci. Ne pas oublier ce détail sous peine de faire remonter la porte dans l’encadrement et au pire la coincer en fermeture. L’objet a été utilisé sur un sol stratifié et le maintien est parfait et ne glisse pas grâce a l’embase recouvert d’un caoutchouc. Ne pas mettre sur un tapis.
