The instructions are for 5 different models so watch your model number. I wanted a below trailer mount. this is above trailer mount. No metal rod with PVC cover - this is solely Premolded PVC. on plus - easy to cut PVC to fit curve of boat; on other side this was supposed to be metal with pvc coating on some models.It fits but instructions do not show below trailer install and it probably can be but I'm geometrically challengedTom

Have ordered this before and was fine last time box was severely damaged and missing the installation hardware. Not happy boater.

One of the guides broke off at the curve on the bottom needs to be replaced

If you want to be able to launch and pick up your boat with ease this is a great start. With out this, or something like it, just try to back up to the boat ramp to pick up your boat. It is hard if not impossible to see you trailer without it. Sturdy, yet flexible PVC material that allows you to park your boat on the trailer, keeping you inline. This is not just a product, this is freedom. Freedom to do it yourself if need be. I have only used it 3 or 4 times, but in that time, it has not disappointed. Worth every penny.

I bought a "Used" set at a substantially lower price; it had a few black scuff marks which I easily removed with Acetone. I have a small 15-foot boat which I take out by myself a lot and cannot see the trailer when backing it down the ramp, but with the top of the pole guides visible, I can easily tell how close I am to the pier and avoid hitting it. And getting the boat onto the trailer now is a breeze, the boat hull no longer hits the trailer cross bars, the verticals always guide my boat onto the center rollers and keeps it from drifting to the side, even in windy conditions.

Fit on a 14" Jon Boat trailer. The flat box doesn't let the boat glide in as effortless as one would like. However, one of the reasons for purchasing these, was so I could see where the trailer was. Being so low, it was nearly impossible to see when backing up. (except when it would turn past the bed) Came exactly as described. I would recommend these to anyone wanting an inexpensive solution to a problem, or to replace a worn out set.

It is easy to instal

Lighter in weight than expected, but should handle my old 14 ft. fibreglass boat. Little tricky to install, but managed. Need 3 hands, 1 to hold tube itself while using the other 2 to setup the bracket with self locking screws, little tricky, but hey, done.
