The Illuminated Chakras: A Visionary Voyage into Your Inner World DVD-ROM – Audiobook, September 8, 2010

This is a great dvd. I used to be interested in hindu philosophy but hadn't thought about the chakras in a long time. Rather than just serving to educate, this dvd enables one to enter a state of meditation. It's hard to deny the influence of kundalini, this 'snake energy' in our lives, but I couldn't help but feel my Judeo-Christian beliefs taking hold when seeing the image of kundalini, with its glowing eyes, wrapped around the world (3 1/2 times, according to this philosopy).Great dvd, but poor delivery! It took about nine months for Amazon to find a copy to ship. I wasn't able to view it more than once. Found out it had a huge crack on the back of it. For some reason, it worked for one time. I was able to find another copy online however, so all's well that end well.

This is a beautiful DVD. It provides a visually attractive and informative presentation of the Chakra system.

I ordered 2 copies. The first one would not play on my computer. The second works fine. The content is amazing-- for the one that works.

This DVD on the chakras is so very well done with amazingly beautiful graphics, but more importantly with "illuminating" information, and it is done in a way that one can use it as a meditation. This work is a true gift. Thank you!

Had a group of ladies watch this and all enjoyed it. Colorful, relaxing and very good information to learn about the chakras.

Very nice graphics, but otherwise not informative or very helpful. To seriously work with chakras there is a lot of other excellent material out there. Nevertheless, it is fun watching this DVD.

This is an amazing DVD journey through the chakras. Very well "animated", the computer generated images feel very real and accurate. Just enough information on each chakra to not overload one into the left brain, it's truly a meditative experience. I could feel my consciousness being elevated as I watched, something I plan to do on a regular basis. I was blown away by how well Judith was able to present this on a screen.

It opens with a soothing, unique prelude. The female narrator had an uplifting voice...positive, earthy but not chirpy. It is helpful with thorough explanations for even the beginner. For the more experienced, it is more than just a dictionary. It is a beautiful visual journey with guided meditation. I think this is now one of my favourite things.

An amazing journey through the chakras.

Beautiful presented but not really what I have expected. I thought it was a guided meditation. However that been said it could have shown more information. I found for what one got it is a bit pricey

I buy a whole lot of books from Amazon. I adore recycling books, second-hand books are much cheaper, and as I live in France, I get access to a whole world of English language books right into my letterbox. Within days usually. However this book is overdue, presumed lost, and I hope the vendors will either refund me or send me another copy??

Wenn man Zugang hat bzw. sucht zu dieser Art Esoterik, ist das ein handwerklich wirklich gut gemachter Film für den Einstieg in diese Denkweise. Einen Stern Abzug habe ich für die deutsche Tonspur gegeben. Ich möchte der Dame nicht zu nahe treten, aber wo die Autorin im Original beruhigend und meditativ spricht, kommt die deutsche Stimme arg abgelesen und zumindest für mich sehr enervierend rüber. Das ist möglicherweise nicht zuletzt der Übersetzung geschuldet, die sich zwar buchstabengetreu an die Vorlage hält, gerade deshalb aber oft sehr gestelzt rüberkommt.Also dringender Tipp: Im englischen Original schauen. Dann kann das sehr angenehm wirken.Für Menschen, die rein wissenschaftlich und rational denken ist das ohnehin nichts.Neugierige und "Open-Minded" bekommen hier aber interessante Anregungen. ("....spinning wheels of energy...")

An excellent DVD on the Charkas. Working through each charkas in a easy to follow way and explaining each one so well and so colourful way it was a mediation in itself.
