Held up to two years tough daily use on the job no problem.
I ordered these wrenches about two years ago for my work as a traveling engineer for a medical supply company. What I do for the company is travel all over the Midwest U.S. and repair medical instruments. These are instruments used in tissue diagnostics. Most of the screws are metric so as you can see in my posted pictures of these wrench sets after two years of daily hard work, the standard wrenches are showing minimal paint chips after two years of hard traveling in cars and airplanes. I have used the most the 4 smallest wrenches in the metric set. As you can see in my pictures there has been some slight bending on the smallest wrenches and after two years hard daily use the closeup picture of the ball ends on these wrenches shows that there has been minimal but some wearing of the ball ends. The straight ends have held up very well with virtually no wear. In my pictures you can see that the paint on the 4 smallest wrenches has worn off quite a bit but I must make a disclaimer on this as these instruments that I work on have very harsh chemicals coting the internal parts (this is where I use those wrenches the most) and those chemicals also take the powder coting off on the instrument as well. Since the wrenches with heavy paint ware are the ones exposed to these chemicals and the wrenches that are rarely exposed still have most of there paint, I would be more inclined to blame the chemicals then the build quality. All in all I would say that these wrenches held up very well given there hard usage on a daily basses. They travel in a large tool box with other tools and parts, often coming off the luggage carouse upside down and the wear has been minimal even with all that ruff handling. I am now getting ready to order this set again as the ball end on the smallest wrench has worn to the point that it sometimes slips in the screw and this can cause the screw to strip. I seriously think these wrenches are a great buy and to get two years daily hard use out of the smallest wrench's ball end before needing replacement is really quite fantastic. I have had other wrench set that could not come close to lasting that long let alone on the smallest wrench. So yes I do recommend and yes I would (and are) buying them again.

You get what you pay for (poor quality holder)
The plastic holder for these broke at the hinge very early on. Note that the smaller sizes don't have the size marked on them, and aren't as hexagonal as you'd hope for. They were what was in my budget, so they work well for the price.

Get them now
I have 200,000 loose Allen wrench’s I have gathered over the years and always hated grabbing a hand full or them to find the one that would fit. I still have all those stupid things but this set is so much nicer and easier to use. Who’s I found this a long time ago

Great for tightening
These wrenches allow for tremendous torque and tightening capabilities. It’s far superior than the little short wrenches that usually come with other kits. Highly recommended.

Great for hubby grade work, mechanics and heavy industry, steer clear
For the price, this is an adequate set of hex tools. I received the imperial and metric sets each having 9 tools total in the set for a kit of 18 total. On the positive side, these tools will get you through the removal or insertion of any hex fastener of regular standard use. They look and feel very nice and of higher than normal quality with the powder coated paint, varying colors, and hand feel. A slightly longer than usual tool length should aid in removing those particularly stuck fasteners. On the downside of these tools:1) The cases that are given to hold the tools hold them more than sufficiently however each set is divided into halves and opens like a book on a plastic hinge. This hinge failed within 10 minutes of just looking at the tools, I was not even handling them or in active use as of yet.2) There is no rhyme nor reason to the colors and they colors are shared across imperial and metric making it zero gain to rapidly know which tool you have.3) the lower smaller 3-4 sizes of tool are not imprinted with the tool size. Imperial and metric will quickly get mixed.4) tool sizes are screened on, and can wear off over use, I would have preferred engraved or stamped which would have allowed the smaller tools to have markings.5) my first use of the tool and I was unsuccessful in removing a fastener but successfully had rounded over and ruined one end of the tool. I also put a bend in the long side of the tool.6) storage organizer hinge system is prone to failure as only two small plastic nipples hold the whole kit together7) the rounded end to allow for non perpendicular mating to a fastener is a nice touch. I have used this in other tools as well. This effort feels sloppy and lose and out of tolerance. I would like to know the +/- margin of error on the sizing if these tools.8) the chrome plating on the non powder coated area of the tool seems to have added enough playing material to make a less than perfect fit as tool ends are not square. Or perhaps the tool ends simply were not square prior to chrome plating. Regardless, when put to use you even up with a less than reassuring grip to your fastener.9) Design of tool storage holder is a hard thing to use with constant adjusting of already seated tools needed to accept tools put back into storage again.Agsub. The cost is why you get these. And if you work in hobby remote cars, or similar you won’t ever have issues. If you’re an auto mechanic, steer clear.

Works Grate
The hinges on the fold out not stong enough come apart to eazy. But the tool work grate. Like colors to identify different sizes. Would have made metric and standard sizes different colors. Beats the heck of of the the case type Allen's i had. Open the case and fall out of the holders. I really like the length of these. Better the standard size for them hard to brake bolts. 03/01/25 I had this for good while now. But I will say 3mm broke at the 90 or the L. eazy to replace one Allen. Also I only use 3mm and up the smaller ones are no use for me.
