Replacement toilet seat, slightly expensive but a quality product and fitted on my existing brackets without much fuss.Soft close function is very slow and controlled - the downside to this is - that it is so slow there is the temptation to push it lower by hand. I think this is the reason the original one needed replacing as forcing it down damaged the fittings over a number of years.But that was operator error.
