Great fabric for Acoustic Panels
This is the gold standard for acoustic panels for a reason. It Works great, looks great, and has held up nicely for several years now. It cuts nicely, doesn't snag or run when cutting and stapling, is incredibly sonically transparent, and you can't see through it at all. My darn cats have climbed up and down them a few times and I don't have any snags from their claws. I posted about the actual performance and build of my acoustic panels on Gearspace (look up fluffy r30 broadband absorption and go to the third page if you want to geek out on design and performance). I have also used Vintage Poly Burlap for acoustic panels, which is a bit less durable, tends to snag when stapling (or due to cat claws) and isn't quite as sonically transparent. This Guilford of Maine stuff is better, and the prices reflect that. It's a fair price though -- I haven't seen any better deals for normal prices.

For acoustic panels, you can get cheaper fabric, but nothing else really works
This fabric is really really good, but expensive. I tried other varieties, but nothing else meets all the specs: -- Acoustically transparent -- Fire resistant -- Looks pretty good

Great material- inexpensive, durable, and odorless
Great material. If making acoustic baffles be careful screwing or drilling through it, the bit/screw will grab a thread and tug it pretty quick, ruining the weave for the entire row. It's pretty tough on cutting edges as well, dulls scissors and utility blades fast. But I suppose both things are true for all coarse-weave materials. It's a terrific bargain for the quality of material, and doesn't have any strong odors that need to be washed out before use.

Great Fabric! SHIPPING FIXED - Thanks ATS!
This is what can be done with this ATS Acoustics -Guilford of Maine Fabric! Everything pictured here was built by my cousin & I, then wrapped with the ATS fabric The fabric is top notch. I was able to purchase 2 different colors in the same order this time without having to pay seperate shipping charges like my previous 2 orders. I think ATS has their ear to the ground listening to their customers. It's a very honorable thing to do and I commend them for that. The Fabric is Expensive...BUT you get what you pay for. I could've used Polyester or Felt from my local fabric shop for a 1/4th of the cost, but this fabric was designed specifically for Acoustic Treatment, with lots of R&D work put in I'd Imagine. It's Fxcking Amazing. If your budget allows, DON'T SKIMP ON THE FABRIC & get a few yards of this stuff. 5 stars. A+ - Tragik

GREAT fabric, fraction of the price
I tried to save some money and go with duck canvas on my 8 acoustic panels for my home theater and they looked terrible. This seller offers Guilford of Maine at a very affordable price, so i was a bit skeptical... The roll arrived ahead of time, packed well, and ROLLED which is huge to avoid wrinkles. This fabric was super easy to work with, no wrinkles, and it sounds GREAT. Highly recommend this for anyone working on acoustic panels or speaker grills. Would happily order from them again in the future. Thank You!

Peace of mind even for the animals
I am glad to see that I can have a fabric like this We have an Airbnb and we allow animals so in case there's a fire that breaks out either at a fireplace or on a stove by accident it would be nice that they could have something to help either family members or their animals that they can wrap in for some safety. I only wish that it was cut in one yard fabric pieces. I ordered five or six yards and that's how it came in one big piece
