These work great for blocking out or reducing loud noises. I'm a light sleeper and living in a condo community can be quite noisy, especially with late night partying. They help a lot; they help me sleep longer and deeper. It took some time to adjust to but after a few nights, I adjusted. A tip: for those of you with long hair, I encourage you to wear it up in a high ponytail as your hair can get stuck in the silicone putty. I was surprised these ear plugs actually remain in place but they do. I've been using this brand for years. Pay attention to the directions and make sure you avoid pushing them deep into your ear canal.

I love these. The only thing is after using a few times and bragging, my ENT friend advised me she removes a lot of these fragments from ears if placed too deep or too dried out. But I’ve used them in the pool, the plane and to sleep and have loved them. Quiet and keep water out.

They are doing construction where I live that starts at 8 AM, so I was looking for options to help me sleep through it. Tried a half dozen different style earplugs at all price ranges and this was the only one that was even close to being effective! It’s a ball of wax that you press in and around your ear hole to seal it tight, like you’re patching a hole. It’s still not 100% effective, but it’s very close. And with the white noise of my fan, AC, and sound machine, it's the only one that effectively blocked out enough noise that I could sleep through the construction. Save your money on the more expensive earplugs. Nothing else is as effective at blocking out sound and noise as this is!

Even though these are highly recommended for maximum coverage in water I tried them for mechanical and environmental noise reduction while I sleep. They were a little too large to stay in place over my ear canals in my small ears so I cut one in half and flattened and shaped the soft silicone pieces a bit and they were a perfect fit, stayed in place and eliminated the annoying noises awakening me throughout the night. Great value for the money and continue to work. I put them in a small sterile container when I remove them to keep them clean.

I read the instructions on how to use these, for reducing snoring sounds. However they do not mold to the point of staying put over your ear. As a result there is very little noise reduction, rendering these pretty useless. I went back to my foam ear plugs. I'm baffled by the good reviews here.

These are perfect for my 6 year old 1st grader for loud school lunches and assemblies. He has sensory issues with loud noise and won't wear noise canceling headphones. He lovessss these and uses them every day. He said they're better than the rest we've tried. Super easy for him to put in. I roll them into balls (I do cut them down to size but I make sure they're rolled well so there's no stray pieces) and put them in his little ear plug case in his lunchbox and he just presses them over his ear canal and voila! He doesn't mind the feeling/texture of them at all. He said they're perfect.

I have tried various ear plugs but none really worked, these do. They seal around your ear to prevent noise seepage , they are not sticky & last quite a good while. Very pleased I found something that really does work well.

I have really small ears and ear canals so the rubber, roll up and squish in your ear type plugs do not work. I break one of these earplugs into 6 and roll into a ball and use b4 I go to sleep at night. Can reuse until they are no longer tacky. So, one pack lasts me months! They totally block out my husband snoring, birds singing in the morning, wind and rain. It's the only way I get any sleep! Been using MACKS for 15+years.
