Wonderful Lesson Book
Not only do I love how beautiful a lesson this book teaches, but my kids love it too. This and all the other books in the series are great for teaching about money and how to keep everything in perspective. A must buy for your kiddos.

Not A Happy Surprise For Me !
SOOO disappointed !! This book needs to be updated big time. Kids are not put in Orphanges in the 21st century unless they're in a 3rd world country. Here, in the US, children are placed in Foster Homes. The traditional family of yesterday has shifted to single parents & much younger grandmas raising children, who many times don't have an extra $100 to give to junior. ...not like the little ol' grey haired grandma, pictured in the book. The message of the story, regarding empathy & generosity is lost, & I feel, it will leave other less fortunate children questioning why their grandmas didn't give them $100 for their birthday. Total waste of money, & shipping, & I found it inappropriate to give to my friend's 8 year old grandson, ( who just came out of placement ) !
